And then take a nice breath.
You can begin to relax your shoulders.
Same with your pelvis.
Just get your body comfortable and shake any tension that you may have.
And if you're seated,
Make sure your spine is long so this energy we're talking about,
This vibration,
This frequency can freely flow throughout your body.
It's not getting jammed anywhere.
And if you're lying down,
Maybe you want to put something under your knees.
And as you take the next breath,
Imagine now if you can breathe with your whole body.
So you're breathing,
Not in the abdomen,
Not in the chest,
But breathing in the whole self,
However that looks to you.
Think about it,
Imagine it,
And then see if you can instruct yourselves to take a breath.
And in that breath,
Observe the state of expansion that you currently have,
Which might change throughout the meditation.
So you breathe and expand,
And you can hold that for a sec or two,
And then let it drop in the exhale.
And we're gonna use this breath to connect with this idea of new possibility,
New emergence,
New something that we are creating.
So you breathe it in with your whole body,
Hold it,
And you can exhale with a sound or a sigh,
And in that exhale you release,
Let go everything that you are ready to let go,
That no longer you need to carry,
Even if you don't know what that is,
You intend to just let go,
Surrender.
And take one more breath,
And now you know what we're doing,
We're breathing in the new,
Our creation,
Expanding into it,
Hold it,
And then exhale,
Let go,
Release,
Relax.
And know that you can do this anytime,
Your breath is the most powerful way to regulate yourself,
Your nervous system,
Your heart rate,
Your state of being presence.
So now we're gonna take a step deeper,
And by that I'm gonna ask you to follow my voice,
Close your eyes,
And bring the image of a place where you feel happy,
Your happy place.
If it could be in nature,
Even better,
And you can let your eyes gently drop and relax in their sockets,
And breathe in the sensation of being in that place,
See if you can feel what it feels like to be in that place,
In your happy place.
And if you don't have a happy place,
Imagine one,
Imagine a place,
Preferably in nature,
And begin to breathe in the feeling of that place,
Perhaps safety,
Connection,
Relaxation,
Joy,
And allow the breath to be this whole body breath,
So it's not local to one area in your mind,
You're breathing through your feet,
And your hands,
And your heart,
The top of your head,
Your back,
And when you breathe in and your whole body is expansive with this feeling of your happy place,
You hold it,
And exhale,
Feeling how it's bathing you,
Cleansing you,
Much like a waterfall,
This feeling,
Taking away all the worries,
All the fears,
All the doubts,
Again breathing in the feeling,
Hold it,
And exhale,
Let it go,
Make a sound if you want to,
And now imagine that as you're happy,
In your happy place,
Breathing it in and breathing it out,
This source of light comes all around you,
So see if you can perceive that your body as it breathes and feels these feelings,
Perhaps gratitude,
Excitement,
It's radiating,
It's radiating some warmth,
And you could see it as light,
So see if you can see it or imagine it all around you,
And the more you pay attention to it as you breathe,
The brighter it becomes,
Just clear,
Breathe in and see it's turning up,
Radiating all around you,
Hold it,
And exhale,
And you exhale,
The breath changes,
But the radiance and the light remain,
They're always with you,
So you keep breathing this way and thinking and feeling of the light and the sensations in your body,
Whenever you get distracted come back to it,
Feeling that happy place,
Breathing it through the whole body,
Connecting to the radiance of this breath in the feeling good state,
And now imagine that you can move about space,
You don't have to walk,
You could float,
You could fly,
You could roll,
You could bounce,
Let's experience some playfulness in this state,
Where you're not necessarily a heavy body that needs to take a lot of time to move through space,
But you're buoyant,
You're light,
So move about space,
Imagine now you can move about that place you're in,
That imaginary happy place,
And see how far can you go without losing the feeling,
And if you notice the feeling is getting weaker,
Come back to that one and only thing,
Feeling,
At the very least feeling grateful,
Because you can do this,
You have ears and breath in the body,
And you can practice,
And of course the more elevated or beautiful state you can get,
The higher vibration,
Love,
Peace,
Joy,
Breathe it in,
Energize that space all around you,
See it,
Feel it,
And move,
Move with it,
Move forward,
Move up,
And see how far can we go with it without losing the feeling,
Perhaps you're now exploring outside of the happy place,
In an unknown zone,
Unknown territory,
But you can always come back to the feeling,
Breathing through the whole body,
Your radiance,
Your light,
Your warmth,
All around you,
That you can trust,
It's always with you,
So now let's all together move out of that comfortable place,
That happy place,
And take us as a whole into an unknown place,
And see what comes up for you,
And we're now facing something we don't know about,
No matter what comes up,
You don't resist it,
You simply observe it,
Welcome it,
It's part of our experience,
And you come back to your feeling,
To your breath,
To the expansion that you feel with the breath through the whole body,
To the radiance around yourself,
Connect to that again,
And as we keep moving through the unknown,
Know that you're not alone,
You're not doing this on your own,
We're doing it together,
So it's okay,
You're not separate,
And we move together,
Maybe some people are jumping,
Some people are floating,
Some people are rolling,
Or walking,
And now we face something that's really,
Really weird,
Really weird,
So let's observe that,
It's a beautiful chance to see contrast,
Well I don't like that,
But that doesn't mean it doesn't have the right to exist,
I simply know that is not what I want,
So let's see if we can do that together,
As we breathe our feeling,
Come back to yourself,
Breathe through the whole body,
And sense your radiance,
Allow whatever comes up as a symbol for your dislike,
As a symbol for your not preference,
For that which you don't want to simply be,
And perhaps you can look at it with curiosity,
And turn around it,
And look at it from the different side,
And say well thank you for showing me that this is not what I like,
And off we go somewhere else,
So practice that my dears,
Look for the sensations that come up,
And see that you can come back to your feeling,
You're feeling good,
Into your breath,
Into your radiance,
And even that you don't have to,
You could even accept that which you don't like as part of you somehow,
And thank it for its presence,
And move on,
Continue exploring this experience,
And now choose from these two scenarios,
Which one do you want to practice again now in the safety of the group experience,
Do you want to face more unknown territory,
So make it,
Make it like you can make a movie come up for you,
What is it like,
Is it fuzzy and foggy,
Is it dark,
Is it cold,
And move through it knowing that you can always come back to the breath,
To the feeling that may feel even warm inside of you,
And as you breathe through your whole body it expands front and back and sides,
And maybe in that expansion you sense your radiance,
And you can feel somebody else's,
And you remember you're not alone in this game,
We're doing it together,
So if that's the edge of your learning and growth,
Do that again,
And if it's meeting that or who you don't like,
Do that again on your own now,
So practice,
Practice like a game,
And always come back to the same knowing that you're feeling good,
Peaceful,
Loving,
Grateful,
It's guiding you,
And as you breathe that expands and protects you,
And moves you forward,
Two simple steps,
The breath and the feeling,
Feeling and the breath,
And remembering your radiance,
Remember that you're not contracting only,
You are contracting and expanding,
And in the expansion you can feel how far around you can you sense this feeling of yours,
Like a light beam opening up the space for you,
So now we let go of all the unknowns and all the dislikes,
And we come back together to a shared space,
The space of community,
You can imagine a large bonfire,
And all our little orbs of light or big orbs of light are coming around this fire,
We're sitting around it,
We're sitting in pure delight,
For we recognize each other's light,
And as we look around,
And some are bright,
And pink,
And red,
And orange,
And green,
And all colors are here,
All shapes are here,
All sorts of intensities,
And at the center of this big,
Big fire to remind us,
To transmute,
To enlighten,
To commune with nature,
To remind us that we're in this together,
And one more time we breathe our feeling,
Perhaps now the feeling of connection with others is here,
And breathing and linking our breaths and our bodies as one,
We say thank you for this opportunity to share,
To connect,
To experience,
To receive,
To allow,
To learn,
And now allow one word perhaps or image to be shown to you,
You can imagine a screen in the front of your eyes,
Something that you can use to remember this moment,
This practice,
Bring that down into your heart,
Down into your belly,
And as we now come back into the room,
And into the body that we inhabit,
We keep the memory of our connection,
Of our light,
Of our breath,
Our shared experience,
And we thank each and every one of you and all the elements for this Equinox meditation.
