Good morning.
God morning to you.
Tell your mind to come and sit with you.
It's constantly running towards what it wants,
Away from what it doesn't want,
Away from this present moment.
Become one with this present moment.
Meaning hear the silence of this present moment.
Don't think a thought.
Just hear me and the silence.
Knowing that the silence is only appearing as me,
As this voice.
Only silence is here.
So close that body's eyes and stop running from it.
Be saying stop running from me.
You don't even realize you're doing it.
Invite me in.

Letting go takes a lot of courage but once you do happiness comes very quickly.
Let's tick not high.
Jesus takes over very quickly.
I listen to Rodin says since surrendering I've felt at ease.
I say it when I experience any obstacle or challenge throughout the day and each time my anxiety subsides.
I'm currently in a season of transition within my career.
Finally after surrendering it to God and listening to worship music all day for two days,
I felt peace.
I stopped checking emails and said you take care of everything and on Friday I got a call for an interview.
It's amazing what happens when we relinquish control and be still and know that he is God.
She said thank you for sharing and I will be praying in agreement on Monday and daily during this prayer challenge.
I pray that God heals your heart from whatever is causing you pain right now.
What brought you here?
What is causing you to pray?
I think it's that pain,
That problem,
That person.
That's what it looks like but look deeper.
He's causing you to pray.
He's brought you to him and so that pain,
That problem,
That person,
That's grace.
Khalil Gibran says many of us spend our whole lives running from feelings with the mistaken belief that you cannot bear the pain but you have already borne the pain.
What you have not done is feel all you are beyond that pain.
What can you feel right next to the pain?
Right after the prayer.
Right after the tears.
What comes after the rain?
Right now you're feeling what comes after the rain.
You're hearing the silence that comes after it.
The stillness.
In Florida we get the most gorgeous skies.
After a hurricane,
There was a storm last week and I went outside to enjoy the stillness that followed and I looked up and there was a faint rainbow there and I kept looking and it got clearer and brighter and when I went outside the next day it was cloudy again but I looked at where I knew that rainbow had appeared and I felt it.
He's always here to fill.
There's someone that wants to pray with you.
Of course I do.
There's someone that's not there's someone that's always praying with you and you know who that someone is.
They've seemed to have transitioned but they're right here.
I was in my car before going into church last week and the church is called Saint Cecilia and I remembered that saints pray with us while we're praying.
You can invite them to pray the rosary right alongside you right next to you and so I said I'd love to know that when I'm in that church praying the rosary that's Saint Cecilia who was the patron saint of music of the sound which you know I am intimately aware of and she's often pictured with an organ and so I requested that I could be aware of that presence and I walked into the church and often I'm the one that has to open the church and turn the lights on and get everything set up but I didn't have to that day everything was on and there was very loud music and during the weekly masses there is no music just words you know just us just a few of us and the organ was playing it was being tuned that's never happened before in all of my months of going every day I've never heard the organ even played on Sundays just the piano and so I instantly smiled and they stopped tuning while mass was happening and then when mass was over of course I stayed afterwards and I worked for a bit editing shows and right before I left I came out onto the altar they were still tuning just playing different tunes and going up and down the scale and I knelt before the tabernacle looking up at the cross and as I did that whoever was tuning the organ hit the highest note on that thing and it sounded like the sound that I've talked about for years on this podcast and I'll link an episode in the show notes that key of life this tone from heaven this voice it sounded like that and I was looking up and all I could say was thank you it felt like I'd come full circle it was a clear sign that they're with us when we pray that they pray for us let us pray these are Jesus's words to your soul why are you getting all worked up leave your worries to me and everything will calm down all will be fine I say to you in truth that every act of true blind complete surrender to me produces the effect that you desire and resolves all difficult situations and now let us pray 10 times oh Jesus I surrender myself to you take care of everything oh Jesus I surrender myself to you take care of everything oh Jesus I surrender myself to you take care of everything oh Jesus I surrender myself to you take care of everything oh Jesus I surrender myself to you take care of everything oh Jesus I surrender myself to you take care of everything talk to him not to nothing he is alive he is right there listening smiling feeling oh Jesus I surrender myself to you take care of everything oh Jesus I surrender myself to you take care of everything oh Jesus I surrender myself to you take care of everything oh Jesus I surrender myself to you take care of everything now our concluding prayer mother I am yours now and forever through you and with you I always want to belong completely to Jesus amen I want to desire only Jesus I want to be able to trust him even when every door looks closed he's saying they look closed so you'd look for me so that you'll stop running and turn around and come face to face with me you're face to face with me right now as silence is my face it is my ear it is my hand take it with every ending you didn't think you wanted comes the beginning you didn't know you needed that's Eddie I took his hand and he brought me out of a situation that was only going to get worse it had been deteriorating I had been knowing what I was supposed to do but I was afraid but he took my hand and he brought me here and he was with me the whole way through the fear and through the tears through the difficult but necessary conversations through the excitements through the disappointments he never let go I stayed aware I clung to him and here I am he brought me to you and here you are fully in this moment fully understanding now why you have to be here you have to get out of your comfort zone so you can bring others comfort that's Sri Sri Ravi Shankar you have to let him in if you miss a day during our nine days that's okay keep going don't stop that's temptation temptation says I'll start again next time on the next novena no go back start at day one or start on the next day this is the perpetual novena we don't ever actually stop I never stop praying we just do this to make the mind stop whenever you start doing what you do today hear me inside saying stop we don't have time for that it's not true that thought is not true it hurts because it's not true God does not agree with you I do not agree with you about that stop and say Jesus you take over you take care of it and feel the care feel the end in the beginning I love you I love you I love you I love you and we'll chat soon
