Welcome to this guided meditation brought to you by Create the Calm.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in and exhale gently.

Feel your body supported beneath you.

Notice your feet,

Your legs,

Your back,

And your shoulders.

You are held.

You are safe.

Bring your attention inward,

Following the natural rhythm of your breath.

Inhale calm and exhale tension.

Silently remind yourself,

I am enough,

I am whole.

I am capable of receiving love and support from life and from myself.

Today we will explore the belief that something outside of you,

A partner,

A relationship,

Or some type of external change,

Is needed to make you complete or fix what feels lacking inside.

Many of us grow up thinking that fulfillment must come from another person or a specific situation.

We may believe,

They should make me feel complete,

Or if I'm in a relationship then I'll finally be happy.

Or even,

I don't have what I need,

Someone else must provide it.

Notice if any of these beliefs arise for you.

You don't need to push them away or judge them,

Simply observe them.

Imagine these beliefs as weights resting on your chest.

With each breath,

Release one weight at a time.

Inhale calm and exhale expectation.

Inhale self-compassion and exhale reliance on outside validation.

Remind yourself that your completeness comes from within.

You are capable of nurturing your own heart,

Honoring your own needs,

And receiving love without depending on something external to fill you.

Picture a warm radiant light above your head.

It flows down through your body,

Filling your chest,

Your heart,

And your abdomen.

This light carries self-acceptance,

Strength,

And inner completeness.

See it extending outward,

Surrounding your whole being.

This is your wholeness,

Not dependent on anyone or anything outside of you.

You are complete.

You are enough.

You can receive love and connection from life and others while remaining whole and self-responsible.

Silently affirm,

I release the expectation that someone or something outside can fix me.

I am whole and complete as I am.

I am capable of giving and receiving love in healthy,

Balanced ways.

One more time,

I release the expectation that someone or something outside can fix me.

I am whole and complete as I am.

I am capable of giving and receiving love in healthy,

Balanced ways.

Notice how your body responds.

Perhaps a lightness in your chest.

A softening in your shoulders.

A quiet expansion in your heart.

Rest here for a few breaths,

Fully absorbing this truth.

Take a final,

Deep,

Grounding breath in through your nose.

And exhale fully through your mouth.

Carry this awareness with you.

You are not dependent on someone or something external to make you whole.

You are capable of nurturing your own heart and receiving love fully.

Your wholeness,

Joy,

And peace begin within.

Thank you for sharing this moment with me.
