Wherever you are,

However this moment finds you,

You are invited to pause.

There's nothing you need to solve,

Nothing you need to fix.

For the next while,

You're allowed to step out of the noise of the world and return home,

To a place of warmth,

Steadiness and rest.

Imagine now that you're inside a small wooden cabin.

Outside life may feel loud,

Unsettled,

Perhaps even stormy,

But here you are sheltered.

The door is closed,

The fire is already lit,

A rocking chair waits for you,

Solid,

Steady,

Welcoming.

Take a moment to picture yourself settled in the chair,

Feel its support beneath you,

The gentle rhythm as it rocks forward and back without effort.

The fire crackles softly nearby,

Sending warmth into the room,

Into your chest,

Your belly,

Your legs.

This space requires nothing from you,

So just let yourself settle into the rhythm of the chair,

The movement of your breath and the soothing noise of the fire.

If you notice thoughts drifting in,

That's okay,

You don't need to follow them.

Let the rhythm of the chair bring you back,

And the warmth of the fire remind you where you are.

There's no right way to be here,

Just this,

And this,

And this.

Beyond the walls of the cabin,

The weather continues.

Wind may rise,

Rain may fall,

But none of it needs your attention right now.

The storm is not a sign that something is wrong with you,

It's simply weather passing through.

And sometimes the darker,

Quieter moments of life are not endings at all.

They are plantings,

Roots forming,

Strength gathering beneath the surface.

Whenever life feels too much,

You can return here,

With a single breath,

A memory of warmth,

And the gentle rhythm of the chair,

This place already lives inside you,

Bliss! This is a wonderfully calming practice. Loved the long pauses and gentle background sounds which helped me to bring my wandering mind back to the present and to my breath. I did my 5/5 Coherence Breathing throughout and saw my HRV increase nicely. 😊 Yet another one saved to come back to…I might even try it as one to drift off to sleep to 💤 Namaste 🙏🏽💚
