Welcome to the Ho Ho Panopono meditation.

Before we start,

Settle into your space and find a comfortable position that you can hold without discomfort.

When you're ready,

Try to close your eyes or alternatively take a soft gaze,

Not focusing on anything specifically.

Once in position and trying not to use your eyes,

Start to become aware of your surroundings.

Close your senses on the space to your left,

Then behind you,

Then to your right.

And finally,

To your front.

The aim of this traditional Hawaiian meditation is to help you forgive yourself by releasing you from any troubling thoughts,

Negative patterns or blockages that might be holding you back.

If practiced regularly,

This deeply cathartic meditation can help soothe and purify your mind and soul.

To help you relax and settle you into this meditation,

I'd like to invite you to start to balance your breath.

So when you next inhale through your nose,

Draw your awareness to the tip of your nose,

Picture the breath travelling up your nostrils until it reaches the gap between your eyebrows,

The third eye.

Then when you start to exhale,

Picture the breath travelling down your nostrils from your third eye to the tip of your nose.

And then repeat until you find your balanced breath.

And in a moment,

We'll start the healing process by introducing and repeating the mantra,

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

I love you.

Thank you.

You'll repeat this mantra to yourself,

Either mentally or out loud at a pace that suits you.

Start by repeating each phrase with every inhale and every exhale.

For example,

Inhale,

I'm sorry.

Exhale,

Please forgive me.

Inhale,

I love you.

Exhale,

Thank you.

If this pattern doesn't feel right for you today,

Then simply play with the speed that you recite the mantra to yourself and try and match it to a breath pattern that engages and soothes you.

There's no right or wrong and simply enjoy focusing the mind on the breath pattern.

And if you find yourself feeling a little bit more relaxed,

Then you can start to practice the mantra.

Match it to a breath pattern that engages and soothes you,

There's no right or wrong and simply enjoy focusing the mind on each part of the mantra.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

I love you.

Thank you.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

I love you.

Thank you.

This can be a powerful practice and you may experience ways of emotion or even some form of emotional release.

If this does happen today,

Then try not to repress the feelings.

Simply sit in them.

Try not to engage with them.

Just accepting and allowing the body to release anything that doesn't serve you today.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

I love you.

Thank you.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

I love you.

Thank you.

I will leave you now for a few moments to sit with this mantra.

Hear my voice again shortly.

Until then,

Indulge yourself with the mantra.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

I love you.

Thank you.

If your mind has started to wander,

It's okay.

It's perfectly normal.

Don't get frustrated.

Simply bring it back to the mantra.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

I love you.

Thank you.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

I love you.

Thank you.

You You You gently bring your awareness back to the room.

Keeping your eyes closed,

Start to rub the palms of your hands together,

Vigorously creating some heat between them.

When you feel the heat and keeping your eyes closed,

Place the palms of your hands onto each respective eye.

Allow the warmth of your palms to gently soothe your eyes.

When you're ready,

Keeping your palms against your eyes,

I invite you to slowly open them.

Once they adjust to the darkness,

Slowly move your hands away,

Allowing the light to creep in and allowing the eyes to adjust to the light.

Take your time.

Once you have fully opened your eyes,

Relax your arms down and savour the stillness and calm you are feeling.

Notice and enjoy how vibrant the colours are around you.

When you're ready,

I invite you to carry this feeling of forgiveness,

Love,

Peace and gratitude into the rest of your day and week.

When you're ready,

I invite you to carry this feeling of forgiveness,

Love,

Peace and gratitude into the rest of your day and week.

Thank you for watching!
