Whatever is happening to you right now,

Internally or externally,

Everything's going to be okay.

No matter what is happening around you,

We're going to quiet the storm together.

But first,

Make yourself comfortable.

Find a position that you can find stillness in.

Then close your eyes,

Or a soft gaze,

And gently turn your awareness inward.

Now take a deep breath in,

Hold it for a moment,

And then take a long slow exhale,

Making it twice as long as your inhale.

Let go of any tension,

Any weight you may be carrying from the day.

Right now,

There is nowhere else you need to be but here.

Imagine yourself sitting in the eye of a great storm.

Whether this storm is an external challenge in your life,

Or inner turmoil,

See it now in your mind's eye,

Swirling around you,

The winds howl,

The sky is dark,

And the chaos spins.

But here,

In the very centre,

The eye of the storm,

There is stillness,

There is peace.

You are safe.

You are steady.

There are only two things you can control,

Your breath,

And your reactions to situations.

So when everything around you feels overwhelming,

Focus on what you can control in this moment.

We're going to balance our breath to help balance our emotional selves.

You don't need to breathe deeply,

Just evenly,

Following the breath as it moves up and down the nose repeatedly.

Breathe in through your nose drawing the breath to the space between your eyebrows,

The third eye,

Then follow the breath down from the third eye back to the tip of your nose.

Keep repeating this throughout the rest of our meditation,

And notice how it starts to calm and balance you.

Inhale moving up to the third eye,

Exhaling flowing down to the tip of your nose.

With each breath,

You are reclaiming your inner balance,

No matter how wild the storm outside,

Within you remain calm,

Steady,

Unshaken.

As you continue this breath,

Introduce a gentle mantra in your mind,

Everything is going to be okay.

Repeat it to yourself,

Either internally or externally with each inhale and exhale,

Inhaling everything is going to be okay,

Exhaling everything is going to be okay.

Let this mantra permeate into every fibre of your being,

Using the inhales to anchor you further into stillness,

And the exhales to release any internal resistance.

As you continue to breathe,

Repeating your mantra,

Notice something shifting,

The dark storm begins to lighten at the edges,

A golden glow emerges from the horizon,

Like the first rays of sunrise breaking through the clouds,

Filling you with warmth,

Hope and inner peace.

As you continue with your balanced breath,

Begin to change the mantra to reflect this shift,

I invite you to now use everything is okay,

Inhaling everything is okay,

Exhaling everything is okay.

With each breath,

The storm dissolves,

The light of hope,

Of resilience,

Of self power shines ever brighter,

You are steady,

You are strong,

And from this place of calm,

You are ready to face whatever comes next,

Not as a victim of the storm,

But sat in the eye of it,

Still,

Clear,

Untouchable.

Now take a deep final inhale,

And a long slow exhale,

Just let your breath return to its natural rhythm,

A sailor does not fight the storm,

But instead adjusts their sails to harness the wind to move forward,

True strength is not found in resisting the force around you,

But in learning to work with them,

Navigating the storm with wisdom and resilience.

When you feel ready,

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,

Bring a soft smile to your lips,

And then slowly open your eyes.

Fate whispers to the warrior,

You cannot withstand the storm,

The warrior whispers back,

I am the storm.

Carry this unshakable peace with you into the rest of your day,

Whatever comes,

You will not be swept away,

You will rise,

You will adapt,

And you will move forward with clarity and strength.

The storm does not define you,

You command the storm,

Your centre remains still,

Strong,

And unwavering.

You are now ready warrior,

Namaste.
