Master Cell Meditation
This special guided meditation uses the archetypal symbol of the Sacred Mandala, Sacred Space Circle, and the Sacred Medicine Wheel with four distinct portals that honor the East (representing the past) the South (representing nurturance), the West (symbolizing the future) and the North, (symbolized by Divine Energy). This master cell healing circle represents your master cell where you can empty, cleanse, and fill these areas of your life to bring in love, compassion, and divine healing energy so that this will entrain all the other cells in your body for a healing “reset” for mind-body-spirit balance. The inspiration for this meditation came to me while at a sacred site stone circle in Ireland and has been enjoyed by thousands of people across the planet. It was through numerous requests that I decided to record this for a larger audience. Enjoy!

The Master's Cell Meditation.
Welcome to one of my favorite guided meditations of all time.
This concept first came to me while on a tour in Ireland several years ago.
But the concepts woven into this experience have roots in the American Indian tradition with the sacred medicine wheel,
The Tibetan culture,
Specifically the Tibetan Mandala,
And the Irish traditions of the Celtic cross.
As with all guided meditations,
Use all of your five senses,
Including the power of your imagination and intention,
To have the most powerful experience.
And as with all guided meditations,
Please take what you like and leave the rest.
So please close your eyes,
Relax,
And take a deep breath as we create a sacred space of healing within and around your body.
Within your body,
There is a cell,
A master cell,
That holds the wisdom of healing.
This harmonic wisdom is always present,
But in a busy and chaotic world of stress,
It is often ignored and sometimes compromised through a dissonance of stress emotions.
True to the nature of healing,
It can be easily reclaimed through the alchemy of coherent intention between heart and soul,
Between mind,
Body,
And spirit.
To activate this healing sequence and to access this inherent quality of tranquility,
One must take time to quiet the mind and do some metaphorical housekeeping within the perimeter of this symbolic master cell.
So we begin.
With your eyes closed,
Take a slow,
Deep breath and enter into a phase of deep relaxation.
As you exhale,
Picture,
Through the power of imagination in your mind's eye,
Picture that you are standing in a large circle.
This circle,
This sacred space,
Represents the master cell of your body,
Your master cell,
And you stand in its center.
There is a dynamic but subtle light or energy above you that illuminates you and the entire circumference of this space.
As you stand in the center of the circle,
You look around in all directions and notice that there are four distinct gates or portals that align with the direction of north,
South,
East,
And west.
Just like the physiology of each cell in your body,
These gates are similar to the receptor sites that regulate what comes in and what goes out for optimal health.
It is the regulation of these receptor sites that help maintain the cell's integrity,
Thus the healing nature of each cell.
Through the dynamic power of entrainment,
Or what we call sympathetic energy vibrations,
The master cell in which you stand in the center of vibrates a strong dynamic pulse of healing energy to all other cells in your body.
For this reason,
The master cell is the most important cell in your body.
Once again,
Take a slow,
Comfortable,
Deep breath and give a sense of appreciation of this master cell.
On your next inhalation,
As you look to your left toward the eastern gateway,
You notice a distinct light coming from this direction.
You feel drawn toward this light and begin to approach it,
Standing close to,
But not over the threshold of the eastern portal.
The light from this portal is the light of the eastern gate.
The eastern gate represents the past,
Specifically your past,
And it is often symbolized by the rising sun as a point of orientation.
As you gaze out over the landscape of the eastern portal,
Feel the rays of sunlight from the sunrise on your face.
As you stand at the threshold of the eastern gate,
Call to mind the many years and memories of your past,
From your proudest achievements and accomplishments to the most painful events and associated growing pains that we all experience in the course of our lives.
All of your past experiences have made you who you are.
For this,
Be grateful.
For all past experiences,
Be they perceived as good or bad,
Offer valuable life lessons.
And while the past offers great guidance through the wisdom of these lessons,
One must not dwell too long on the past.
Much of the wisdom of the past comes to us through memories,
Yet other wisdom is an amalgam of insights and experiences over time.
Many memories of past events no longer serve our highest purpose.
They clutter the mind and are known as excess baggage.
While it's important to garner the wisdom of the past,
We no longer need to become hostage to these painful memories.
We can leave them outside the doorstep of the eastern portal.
Having served their purpose,
We can invite them to leave.
This is an empowering step toward healing.
As you stand at the threshold of the eastern gate,
You notice that to the right,
To your right,
There is a door to this gateway,
This portal of the past,
Of your past.
As you study this door,
You notice that like a Dutch door or Irish door,
This door has both a top half and a bottom half.
Taking a step back,
You reach for the door and through the power of intention,
Purposely close the bottom half tight.
In doing so,
You consciously choose to allow light from the eastern gate,
Symbolic of the wisdom from your past experiences.
But leave behind the aspects of the past,
Such as memories and painful experiences that no longer serve you.
Feel free to leave outside the doorstep any additional thoughts,
Attitudes,
Perceptions,
And beliefs that no longer serve you as well.
As you stand behind the bottom half of the door,
Behind the threshold of the eastern gate,
Feeling the light from the east shine on your face,
Give thanks for all those experiences that have made you who you are.
Also,
Give thanks to those memories you wish to let go of.
Take a nice slow deep breath,
And as you exhale,
Give thanks once again,
Honoring your past accomplishments.
With your next breath,
Repeat this thought to yourself,
I embrace my past by letting go of it.
I embrace my past by letting go of it.
With one more slow deep breath,
Turn around and walk back toward the center of the master cell.
Back at the center,
Take another slow deep breath and relax.
Once again,
Look in the direction of the east toward the eastern portal and smile.
Out of the corner of your eye,
You see a light to the right,
And then with a quarter turn,
You see this intense bright light coming from the southerly direction.
This light is inviting,
In fact,
It beckons you toward it,
And so you find yourself walking toward the threshold of the southern gate,
And as you walk toward the portal of the southern gate,
You stop just before crossing the threshold.
The southern gate is symbolic of all that nurtures and sustains you throughout your life.
This includes people,
Family and friends,
Food,
Music,
The arts,
Even nature herself.
Take a moment to call to mind a list of those things that you find nurture and sustain you,
Including all those things that give you pleasure and happiness.
Take a moment to ask yourself,
What brings you joy?
What gives you pleasure?
What makes you happy?
Like the trees' leaves that absorb the sun's rays,
What do you take into your life each day that renews your life?
Just as the noonday sun nurtures the planet with light to sustain growth,
So too is our life sustained by energies that allow us to live joyfully and fulfill our life's calling.
But as the expression goes,
Too much of anything is not good for you.
Moderation is the key.
As you stand at the threshold of the southern gate,
You notice that there is a door to this gateway as well,
A doorway to this portal of the south.
Take a moment to look out over the vast landscape of the southern portal.
See the light shining brightly and think to yourself of all those things that nurture and sustain you.
As you place your hand on the doorknob to the door of the southern portal,
You notice that like the door to the eastern portal,
This door too has a top half and a bottom half.
Taking a step back,
You reach for the door and,
Through the power of intention,
Purposely close the bottom half tight.
In doing so,
You consciously choose to live by the laws of moderation,
Taking in only what you need and no more.
Through the intention of empowerment,
You leave the top half of the door open as a reminder of living your life in balance.
Take a slow,
Comfortable,
Deep breath,
And as you exhale,
Allow light to enter into the master cell from the southern gate's door.
This light is symbolic of all that sustains and nurtures you.
As you stand at this threshold,
Feel the light of the noonday sun on your forehead and on your skin,
And it feels warm and refreshing.
Realize that,
Through the laws of abundance,
You will always have enough to be sustained.
Yet the laws of abundance must be balanced with the laws of moderation.
Conscious freedom must be balanced with responsibility.
Closing the bottom half of this door is a conscious and unconscious reminder to live with the laws of moderation.
As you stand behind this door,
Behind the threshold of the southern gate,
Feeling the light from the noonday sun shine on your face,
Give thanks for all those things that have sustained and nurtured you,
And which continue to sustain and nurture you in your life.
Take a slow,
Deep breath,
And as you exhale,
Give thanks once again,
Honoring all those things that bring you joy and happiness into your life through moderation.
And then with one more slow,
Deep breath,
Give thanks once again from your heart space.
With your next slow,
Deep breath,
Repeat this thought to yourself,
I surround myself with beauty that nurtures and sustains me.
I surround myself with beauty that nurtures and sustains me.
Now,
Turning back toward the center of the master's cell,
You find yourself once again standing in the center,
Looking in the direction of the south,
And it brings a smile to your face.
Yet,
Out of the corner of your eye,
You see a distinct light to the right,
And so with a quarter turn,
You see an intense,
Bright light coming from the direction of the west.
This multicolored light is stunning,
And it quickly draws you toward it.
As you walk toward the portal of the western gate,
You stop at its threshold.
Now the western gate represents the portal to the future,
The promise of a new day,
And all the possibilities of all those things that may be.
The portal to the west is nicknamed the womb of creation,
For it holds all ideas and goals yet to be realized or manifested.
The manifestation of these potential futures is within you.
As you stand at the threshold of the western gate,
Take a moment to think of one or perhaps two specific goals you wish to manifest in the next six to twelve months,
Goals that contribute to the purpose of your life.
Bring this energy into your heart space as you prepare to allow these seeds of potential to germinate in your being.
As you stand at the threshold of the western gate,
You smile as the light from the west illuminates your heart with the realization of these goals,
These goals that help you reach your highest potential.
The light of the western gate is inspiring,
But at the same time,
It may be considered to be daunting.
The manifestation of too many things can be overwhelming and problematic,
And as a result,
It may cause chaos and stress.
So for this reason,
Regulation is essential.
Through the intention of empowerment,
Take a slow deep breath and choose carefully what you draw from the future into the present moment.
With one more slow deep breath,
Choose carefully what you bring into the master cell with your intentions and manifestation of the future.
And now,
As you stand at the threshold of the western gate,
You notice that to your right there is a door.
This door,
Like the door to the other portals,
Has both a top half and a bottom half.
Taking a step back,
You reach for the door,
And through the power of intention,
Purposely close the bottom half tight.
By doing this,
You consciously regulate those wishes,
Dreams,
And goals that reside in your future to come into your heart space at a pace which aligns with your life purpose.
As these take root in your heart space,
They create a pace which is structured,
Not overwhelming.
By closing the bottom half of the door,
You empower yourself to regulate the progress of these goals so you don't become overwhelmed.
So now,
As you stand behind the door,
Looking out over the landscape of the western gate,
Feel the light once again shine from the west,
The setting sun on your face,
And as you feel this light,
Give thanks for all those wishes and dreams that guide and shape your potential and contribute to your life purpose.
Once again,
Take a slow deep breath,
And as you exhale,
Give thanks once again from your heart space,
Honoring all those things that you choose to manifest in your life from the future.
With one more slow deep breath,
Give thanks once again to the womb of creation,
And then with one more slow deep breath,
Repeat this thought to yourself.
The bright promise of the future empowers me to live gracefully in the present moment.
The bright promise of the future empowers me to live gracefully in the present moment.
Now,
Turning back toward the center of the master's cell,
You once again find yourself standing in the center,
Looking back in the direction of the west,
And you give a smile and a nod to the west,
Knowing that those things will manifest in a time that's most appropriate for all things to happen for the best of you and all in the universe.
With a quarter turn,
You see a magnificent bright beacon of light coming from the northerly direction.
This multicolored light is stunning,
And it draws you toward it like a magnet.
As you walk toward the portal of the northern gate,
Stopping just short of crossing its threshold,
You pause with your heart filled with wonder.
Through the portal of the northern gate blows the winds of inspiration,
For the north is symbolic of divine energy.
It's often represented by the north wind or the divine breath.
And while images of the north wind may convey cold,
These winds of inspiration are warm as they blow gently across your face.
The northern gate also contains an intense yet gentle white light.
As you stand at the threshold of the northern gate,
You look out over the vast expanse of the northern landscape and feel not only the light shine on your face,
But you also feel a gentle breeze on your cheeks and skin.
And as you feel these sensations,
Take a moment to honor all that inspires you in your life,
Whether it be a specific person or various aspects and attributes of the universe that conspire for the best of humanity.
Take a moment to think to yourself now,
What aspects of the north inspire you?
What inner resources do you call upon to reach your highest potential?
What motivates you?
And in turn,
Whom do you motivate and inspire?
Just like the breath of life,
Inspiration we take in and share with others.
So once again,
Ask yourself,
Whom do you motivate and whom do you inspire?
It takes great personal stability to stand at this threshold,
For there are those who are tossed about by these winds because they are not grounded.
Similarly,
People can become blinded by the light and easily lose their way.
For this reason,
Once again,
Moderation is not only key,
It's essential.
As you stand at the threshold of the northern gate,
You notice that,
Like the other portals,
There is a door to this gateway as well.
Similarly,
This door,
Like the doors to the other portals,
Has both a top half and a bottom half.
So taking a step back,
You reach for the doorknob,
And through the power of intention,
Purposely close the bottom half tight against the doorframe.
In doing so,
You consciously regulate the winds of inspiration to come into the master's cell and inspire you at a pace that allows you to do your life work with both integrity and purpose,
But not ego and hubris,
Nor to be uncentered or ungrounded.
As you stand behind the bottom half of this door,
Behind the threshold of the northern gate,
Feel the gentle breeze on your face and give thanks for all that inspires you,
All that motivates you on your life journey.
As you inhale,
Breathe in the divine energy of the north wind into the master's cell and let it circulate all throughout your body,
Enclosing the perimeter of the master's cell as well.
As you slowly exhale,
Give thanks once again,
Honoring the divine energies that guide you on your life journey.
With one more slow deep breath,
As you look out over the landscape of the northern portal,
Give thanks once again with the acknowledgement that you are never alone.
With your next slow deep breath,
Repeat this thought to yourself,
I surround myself with the glorious divine breath of life.
I surround myself with the glorious divine breath of life.
With another slow deep breath,
Take a moment to relax and enjoy the light from the northern portal.
And then you find yourself slowly pivoting,
Doing an about face and walking back toward the center of the master's cell.
Once again,
You find yourself standing under a gentle beam.
Take time to process the significance of these four portal gates and the energies that you've brought into the master's cell and the four directions of your life.
Take a moment to face the portal of the east,
And once again,
Take a slow deep breath and give thanks to all those experiences of your past that have made you who you are,
Knowing full well you've left outside the master's cell those things that no longer serve you.
From the center of the master's cell,
Take a quarter turn and look now to the southern portal.
And with a slow deep breath,
Give thanks and gratitude to all those aspects and energies that nurture and sustain you.
And with one more quarter turn,
Address the direction of the western portal.
And with a slow deep breath,
Give thanks and gratitude from your heart space to the wonders that your future holds for you.
And with one last pivot to the right,
Gaze at the open half door of the northern gate.
And with a slow deep breath,
Give a nod of thanks and gratitude to all that inspires you on your life journey.
Now calling on the four directions and the healing energies that they offer,
Allow these healing energies to mingle in a vibration of peace and tranquility that,
Through the power of entrainment,
Resonates with every other cell in your body,
From head to toe,
Front and back,
All around you.
As such,
Through the power of coherence,
Uniting both mind and heart,
You have achieved a deep level of inner peace and healing.
Now,
In front of you is the final portal,
And it calls you with a brilliance of golden white light,
A light symbolic of a new world you are called to enter.
You are called to live.
Though you are bathed in light as you stand in the center of the master cell,
The threshold you are invited to cross right now is just one step away from where you now stand.
With one foot stepping forward,
You cross this threshold into the portal of loving light into the new world.
Feel yourself surrounded by the warm rays of light that embrace you.
As you breathe in this light into your body,
You feel a loving embrace of the divine,
And all is good.
Take a few more slow,
Deep breaths and enjoy the vitality of this light in every cell in your body.
And repeat this phrase to yourself,
I am healthy,
Vibrant,
And whole.
And with this healing intention,
Allow this image of the master cell to slowly fade from your mind's eye,
But retain this sense of healing all throughout your body.
And then take one final slow,
Deep breath,
And bring yourself back into the awareness of your own body,
Your own being.
Make yourself aware of your body,
The room that you're in,
And the awareness of the here and now.
Breathe,
Relax,
Enjoy.
