In this session,
We'll use EFT,
Or Emotional Freedom Technique,
Also known as Tapping.
This gentle somatic tool involves stimulating specific acupressure points on the body while focusing on supportive statements and emotions.
Tapping works by calming the amygdala,
Or the fear center and alarm center of the brain,
Activating the parasympathetic nervous system,
Our rest and digest mode,
And rewiring neural pathways for emotional regulation and resilience.
I'll guide you through each step and let you know where to tap as we move through the practice.
All you need to do is tap along and repeat after me.
Let's begin by grounding into the practice.
Take a soft inhale through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.
Let your shoulders drop and unclench your jaw.
Place one hand gently over your heart and just feel your breath for a moment.
Let's begin by tapping on the karate chop point,
Or the side of your hand,
Either hand,
And repeat after me.
Even though I've been feeling tension,
I deeply and completely accept myself.
Even though I sometimes doubt or disconnect from my calm center,
I choose to feel grounded now.
Even though I've been carrying stress,
I choose to soften and come back to myself.
Now let's tap through the points.
Eyebrow point.
Repeat after me.
I am safe now.
Side of the eye.
I can change my brain.
Under the eye.
I am enough.
Under the nose.
Mistakes are how I grow.
Chin.
My thoughts are not facts.
Collarbone point.
My presence matters.
Under the arm.
Today is a new opportunity.
Top of the head.
I am safe.
I am enough.
And today is a new opportunity.

Take a gentle breath in and let it go.
Notice what's shifted.
We'll now move into a deeper tapping sequence.
These statements build on the ones you just practiced,
Allowing for more integration and embodiment.
So begin again at the karate chop point.
Even though I've been carrying old stress and beliefs,
I now choose to shift.
I welcome emotional clarity and a calm nervous system.
Now tapping through the points.
Eyebrow point.
I am safe right now.
My body knows how to return to calm.
Side of the eye.
I can change my brain.
I am not stuck.
I am growing new possibilities.
Under the eye.
I am enough just as I am.
And I am allowed to rest in that knowing.
Under the nose.
Mistakes are how I grow.
I don't need to fear failure.
It's how I evolved.
Chin point.
My thoughts are not facts.
I can witness them without becoming them.
Collarbone.
My presence matters.
I have value just being me.
Under the arm.
Today is a new opportunity.
A fresh start is always available.
Top of the head.
I am safe.
I am capable of change.
And I choose to show up with compassion today.
Take a deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Allow the energy to settle.
Place both hands over your heart now.
Notice the sense of calm,
Of safety,
Of expansion.

Shift,
And be fully present in this moment.
