During this 5-minute guided meditation, I will support you in your journey to your resource place; a place where you experience safety and peacefulness. This track will support you to take a few minutes to disconnect from your external world and reset. This track can easily be enjoyed while sitting at your desk or added to the beginning of a longer meditation practice. Enjoy.

Thank you for joining me as we journey to your resource place.

When you think of your resource place,

I encourage you to think of a place where you feel safe and peaceful.

This perhaps is a place you've been before or a place that's in your imagination.

This place is special and unique to you.

We will begin our journey today by just taking some time to get comfortable.

You are welcome to be seated or take time to lay on your mat or somewhere else in your space.

You get to control where you go and when you stop.

The important part of this time is that you experience a place where you feel safe and peaceful.

Let's begin by taking a few intentional breaths.

Just noticing how your breath moves in your body,

Noticing where you feel expansion,

And notice where you feel constriction,

Letting your breath move through all parts.

With our eyes closed,

I invite you to visualize this space where you feel safe and in peace.

Notice where you land.

Notice the surroundings around you.

Can you find three or four things that make this space special to you?

How do you feel in your body when you see these items?

Take in the colors in the space around you,

If they're dark,

Bright,

Or maybe everything is one color.

What feelings arise when you see these colors?

Let's notice how our body is positioned in this space.

Are you laying down,

Perhaps sitting on something,

Moving in this space,

Maybe even floating?

However you're positioned in this space,

Notice anything you're touching or anything that's touching you.

How does it feel?

Notice any sensations you feel in this space.

Taking an inhale through your nose and see if there's any smells in this space.

Are there any special smells that bring you more comfort in this space?

Let's tune in to the sounds.

What can you hear?

What sounds support your sense of safety in this space?

Taking a couple deep breaths.

Let's take in this whole experience.

Notice how your body feels,

How it's existing in this space,

The sounds,

The smells,

The sights around you.

What emotions arise while you are here?

Is there anything you need to add to this space to increase your comfort and feelings of peace here?

Let's take a few more breaths to really absorb the entire space that we are in and all the feelings of safety and peace that we are experiencing.

As we take one more inhale in this space,

We take a moment to say thank you for everything this space gives us.

On our exhale,

We'll become aware that we are back in our present place.

Before opening your eyes,

Take a moment to notice how your body feels here.

Notice any sensations you're feeling.

Notice if you were able to bring any of that peace and safety feelings with you.

When you are ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

Remember that you can visit this resource space any time you feel you need to disconnect.

Visiting your resource place can also help unlock creativity.

Trust that this place is available to you any time you need it,

And trust that it can evolve and change as you need it to.
