Welcome.
I invite you to take a moment just for yourself.
This is the story of the eagle and condor,
A prophecy of balance.
It's a story for peace,
Remembrance,
And awakening.
So let your shoulders drop,
Let your breath find you,
Let the noise of the world fade into the background.
There's nothing you have to do right now,
Just listen and be.
So I'm sharing this story that has travelled across mountains and deserts,
Carried in the breath of elders,
Whispered through smoke and song,
And still echoing in the hearts around well.
The prophecy of the eagle and the condor.
They say that once a long time ago,
Before time was measured by clocks or calendars,
The Earth was in balance.
The people lived close to the land,
They spoke to trees,
Listened to rivers,
Danced under the moon,
And sang to the stars.
And in the skies above,
Two mighty birds soared in harmony,
The eagle and the condor.
The eagle was the guardian of the North.
It flew high with sharp eyes and powerful wings,
Representing the energy of the mind,
Of clarity,
Intelligence,
Reason,
And invention.
The condor belonged to the South.
It glided gently on warm winds,
Close to the heartbeat of the Earth,
Carrying the essence of the heart of feeling,
Intuition,
Compassion,
And connection.
The eagle soared with precision,
The condor with wisdom.
And together,
They kept the skies in balance,
Each honoring the other.
Each needed for the world to stay whole.
But as time passed,
Something changed.
The eagle began to fly alone.
With its vision fixed on progress and power,
It built cities that scraped the sky,
Machines that roared and rushed,
Systems that valued speed and control.
The voice of the condor began to fade.
It was quieted by the noise of industry,
Buried under concrete,
And pushed aside by the pace of productivity.
Where once there was harmony,
Now there was division.
And yet,
The elders remembered.
They held the prophecy in their hearts.
They said there would come a time,
500 years after the Great Separation,
When the eagle and the condor would have a chance to fly together again.
This wouldn't happen automatically.
It would take awakening.
It would take remembering.
It would take healing,
Not only of the Earth,
But of our inner worlds,
Too.
Because the eagle and the condor do not just live in the sky,
They live within us.
The eagle is our logic,
Our drive,
Our will to create and shape and understand.
And the condor is our feeling,
Our tenderness,
Our longing to rest,
To listen,
To belong.
For far too long,
Many of us have been flying with just one wing,
Overthinking,
Overdoing,
Over-efforting.
And we are now disconnected from the quiet voice that says,
Rest now,
Feel this,
Trust yourself,
Come home.
But now,
The winds are changing.
Can you feel it?
There's a gentle longing,
Rising in the collective heart,
To slow down,
To reconnect,
To walk barefoot again,
To speak softly and mean it,
To create from sore,
Not just ambition.
This is the return of the condor.
And this,
The prophecy says,
Is our moment,
To bring both wings into flight,
To unite the wisdom of the heart with the clarity of the mind,
To let spirit guide technology,
And to let kindness shape progress.
So,
Let's pause here together,
Close your eyes,
And just imagine these great birds above you.
There's the eagle soaring confidently through open skies,
And the condor circling in grace,
Wide wings catching the breath of the earth.
Now feel these birds within you,
The part of you that dreams and designs and creates,
That figures things out,
That pushes forward,
And the part of you that feels deeply,
That senses,
That holds,
That honors the invisible.
You are not one or the other,
You are both,
And both are needed now more than ever.
When we live only from the mind,
We can lose our way,
And when we live only from the heart,
We can lose our grounding.
But when we bring them together,
We rise in truth,
We rise in balance,
We rise in peace.
So,
Remember this,
When you feel scattered,
Breathe like the condor.
When you feel lost,
See like the eagle.
When you feel divided,
Trust that you were never meant to choose.
You were born to fly with both wings.
The eagle and the condor are not just returning to the skies,
They are returning in you.
So,
Thank you so much for listening.
May you walk this day with an open heart and clear vision,
And may you rise in harmony again and again.
Namaste,
My friend.
