Welcome and thank you for choosing this time for yourself.

Find a comfortable seat,

Perhaps with a cushion for support.

Allow your hands to rest gently on your lap,

Palms facing upward,

In a gesture of receiving.

Gently close your eyes.

Let's begin bringing awareness to the breath,

Not changing it,

Just noticing the natural rhythm of your body,

The rise and the fall.

Now bring your awareness to the very base of your spine,

The root of your being,

Feeling supported,

Grounded,

And safe.

On your next inhalation,

Imagine drawing that feeling of security upward into the lower abdomen,

The space just below your navel,

The home of your sacral center,

The place of flow,

Of feeling,

Of creation.

Let your breath soften and deepen into this space.

With each exhale,

Imagine releasing any tension you might be holding in your hips,

Lower back,

Or belly.

Let it melt away.

Now,

Visualize a warm,

Glowing sphere of energy in this sacral region.

Its color is a luminous,

Liquid orange,

Like the light of a sunset reflected on a calm,

Moving river.

Notice its size,

Its brightness.

Does it feel vibrant and expansive,

Or small and dim?

There is no judgment here,

Only observation.

We will gently awaken this center with movement.

On your next inhale,

Very slowly and mindfully,

Begin to trace a subtle circle with your pelvis,

As if drawing on a canvas with the tip of your tailbone.

Feel the fluidity of your own body.

Feel the rhythm of your breath.

Now,

Reverse the circle,

Exploring any sensations that arise.

Now,

Let the movement settle.

We will connect with the sound of this chakra.

In your own time,

On an exhale,

Let the sound,

Vum,

Vibrate from deep within your belly.

It's spelled V-A-M,

Pronounced V-U-H-M,

Vum.

Feel it hum and resonate through your hips,

Your womb or sacral space,

Your lower back,

Cleansing,

Soothing,

Tuning,

Energizing.

Now,

From this resonant space,

We begin our inner journey.

In your mind's eye,

See this orange light begin to expand.

As it does,

It forms a pathway before you.

You find yourself walking this glowing path,

Arriving at the entrance to your sacral sanctuary.

This is a place that perfectly represents creativity and pleasure for you.

It might be a warm tropical lagoon,

A painter's sunlit studio,

A cozy library filled with books,

Or a completely magical landscape.

Allow the image to form itself,

And then step inside.

Feel the atmosphere here.

Notice the colors,

Which are rich and alive.

Hear the sounds,

Perhaps of water,

Of music,

Of silence.

Touch a surface.

What is its texture?

This sanctuary is a reflection of your own inner creativity and capacity for joy.

There is no task here,

But to be and to feel.

Find a central point in the sanctuary,

A pool,

A chair,

A hearth,

And settle there.

Now,

Invite forward any emotion that has felt stuck,

Any story of not being creative enough,

Any whisper of shame or rigidity.

See it as a shape,

A color,

Or a mist before you.

With compassion,

Simply acknowledge it.

Breathe your warm,

Orange sacred light toward it.

Watch as this light,

Like a dew drop,

A gentle solvent,

Transforms that stuck energy,

Dissolving it back into pure,

Vital sensation,

Into flow.

Notice what arises in its place,

A sense of freedom,

A spark of an idea,

A simple,

Warm hum of aliveness.

This is your birthright to feel deeply,

To create from your truth,

To experience the wholesome pleasure of being in a body.

When you are ready,

Begin to feel the boundaries of your physical body again.

The surface beneath you,

Carrying the essence of your sanctuary within you,

In that sacral space.

Take three deepening breaths.

Gently bring a soft,

Mindful moment to your fingers and toes.

And when you are ready,

Slowly,

Gently,

Open your eyes.

Take a moment to journal,

To move,

Or to rest in this awakened,

Fluid state.
