Clearing Mental Fog Find a comfortable position.

You can be seated or lying down.

Let your eyes gently close or soften your gaze.

For the next few minutes,

We will clear away the mental fog.

Begin by bringing your awareness to your breath.

Don't try and change it.

Just notice the natural rhythm.

The rise and fall of your chest.

Now bring attention to your mind.

Notice the quality of your thoughts.

They might feel scattered,

Fuzzy,

Or clouded.

As if a thick,

Gentle fog has settled over your awareness.

Now imagine your mind is like a peaceful,

Misty windowpane.

On the other side is clarity,

Stillness,

And bright awareness.

But right now,

The glass is clouded with this soft condensation.

The fog of thoughts,

Tiredness,

Or distraction.

With your next gentle inhale,

Imagine you are gathering a soft,

Warm cloth.

It's infused with your intention.

As you slowly exhale,

Picture this warm cloth making a single,

Clear swipe across the misty window of your mind.

Inhale,

Gather your intention.

Exhale,

One clear swipe.

See how the fog pulls back just a little each time?
