The Body Presence Meditation.
This practice will include guided instructions as well as some moments of silence for you to explore on your own.
Start off by nestling yourself into a comfortable,
Seated meditation posture and gently close up your eyes.
Let's set an intention to disconnect from the outside world for the next few moments of practice.
To do that,
Imagine all your worldly problems,
Concerns,
It all dissolves at once in this moment.
Relax your forehead and allow yourself to arrive into your body,
Relaxing it part by part as if you were applying a warm,
Soothing balm to your muscles.
Your body is just present here.
Can you feel it?
Where can you feel warmth or coolness in your body?
Just notice it.
If thoughts arise and you get carried away,
That's alright.
Simply let that thinking go and return to the solidity,
Stability of your body.
Your body's own presence,
Your sacred,
Beautiful shelter that carries you everywhere in life.
Can you feel the weight of your body on your sit?
Just become aware of it.
See how your body is always rooted,
Present,
Here.
If you were distracted by thinking or a strong sensation,
Don't worry about it.
Just flow back into your physical form,
Not one particular sensation,
But your body as a whole.
What other bodiless sensations are present for you today?
Notice the full landscape of your body without analyzing or judging it.
Just be here.
There might be some comfort,
Coziness,
Or perhaps some discomfort or even pain in your body.
That's simply the way it is.
Whatever is present for you,
Don't cling to it and don't push it away.
Just allow your body to be as it is in this moment.
Relax it as a whole and be with its readiness,
Stillness.
Have you been distracted?
It happens.
Just come back to your overall sense of beingness.
No need to put too much effort into concentrating on your body.
Just allow it to be as it is.
Let it go.
Allow yourself to just rest.
Your body knows how to breathe and your heart knows how to beat.
How wonderful,
Right?
You don't have to do anything in this moment.
Just come back home to your sacred temple body.
There is nothing you have to do right now.
You don't have to hold it all together.
Just gently remember your whole body's awareness.
Pure,
Divine,
Undivided,
Always here.
Now slowly begin coming back into your body.
Feel the warmth,
The coolness,
The weight of your body.
You are here.
You are present.
And as we approach the end of this practice,
Thank you so much,
My dear one,
For meditating with me together.
I'm so proud of you.
You've carved out some time for yourself today.
You're doing great.
Now,
When you're ready,
You can gently open up your eyes.
May you be kind to yourself today,
Sending you so much love.
Take care.
