Welcome to this guided meditation for self-love.
Find a comfortable seated position,
And when you are settled in,
Inhale fully and reach your arms up towards the ceiling.
Exhale,
Allow your palms to come down and gently touch at heart center.
And take a moment to thank yourself for carving out this time in your day to cultivate more self-love and compassion.
To deepen your connection with yourself,
Gently place one hand over the center of your chest and the other over your belly.
This will allow you to connect easily with the rhythm of your heartbeats and the rhythm of your breathing.
Feel the warmth of your hands anchoring you into this present moment.
My name is Nell and I will be your guide on this journey of self-love.
Begin to tune into the quality of your breath.
Is it deep?
Is it shallow?
Is it somewhere in between?
Fully immerse yourself in how it feels to breathe,
Acknowledging that it is something that you are able to control at times,
But it is also a happening.
You don't even have to be aware of it and life force flows through you,
Energizing every part of your being.
Fully acknowledge the life force flowing through you.
Inhale deeply into your belly,
Exhale slowly,
Watching the air flow through your chest,
Releasing any tension or heaviness on its way out.
As you breathe,
Recognize that each breath is a gift.
It's a reminder of your inherent worthiness.
Your breath is a constant source of divine love,
Always available to bring you back to the present moment.
As we continue on this journey of self-love,
Let's embrace a new mantra that will guide us through any distractions.
Repeat in your mind or out loud,
I am deserving of the time I spend on nurturing myself.
I am deserving of the time that I spend on nurturing myself.
Your mind may begin to tell you that there are other things that need to be done right now,
But I believe at my core that deepening your connection with yourself is the most important thing that you can do because the depth of which you love yourself strengthens every aspect of your life.
So as I have mentioned throughout this meditation,
Thoughts may arise.
Please know that is okay.
Remember it's okay to notice the thoughts without judgment.
Now that you're anchored in the awareness of your breath,
Let's take a moment to visualize a radiant white light in the center of your chest,
Your heart space.
This light represents the pure essence of love and compassion that resides within you as you breathe fully in and out.
Imagine that this white light expands with each inhale,
Filling your entire heart space with love and radiant light.
Allow it to grow brighter and more luminous with each breath.
Feel the warmth radiating from this light,
Gently melting away any tension and doubts or limiting beliefs that might be residing in your heart.
As the light expands,
It bathes every corner of your heart space,
Dissolving any lingering feelings of unworthiness or self-criticism.
Let the light wash over you,
Cleansing your heart,
Releasing any burdens that no longer serve you.
Take a deep breath in and as you exhale,
Visualize the light expanding beyond your heart space,
Surrounding your entire being.
You are now surrounded and enveloped in this radiant,
Glowing,
Healing light.
I invite you to repeat these affirmations.

Kindness,
And compassion from myself.
