Hello and welcome to Your Breathwork to invite in some joy,

Goofiness,

Weirdness,

Laughter,

Expansion.

Breathwork can be releasing and it can be easeful at times.

We might find ourselves laughing,

Crying,

Any emotion that comes up is normal and it is all energy,

Right?

You're making space and you're releasing.

So today I'll help you invite in a little bit of joy.

Often in our lives we have to fit into these boxes whether it's for work or certain friends or family and maybe some of that is censored in those spaces but here I really want you to let go.

You can be goofy,

You can move the body,

You can sound it out.

We'll be doing a breath pattern that is in through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

Now that is simple but effective.

You breathe into the belly on those inhales and I will invite you to sigh it out,

Maybe laugh it out.

I'll invite you to sound it out and you have got this.

So go ahead,

Shake out that body,

Maybe make a weird sound with it,

Rolling out the jaw.

How goofy can you make that movement?

And let's land here,

Close down the eyes,

Noticing where you are now and it's okay if there are other thoughts floating in.

It's okay if you're feeling resistance.

There's no judgment here.

All right,

Can this be fun?

Maybe even forcing a little smile as we begin the breath in through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

Let's give some sighs on the exhale.

You've got it.

Sighing it out and maybe making that sigh super dramatic.

Is there a movement that your body wants to do as you dramatically sigh?

You can do it.

That's it.

You're safe to let go here,

Safe to feel,

Safe to be here.

It's gonna be messy.

Continuing to breathe in and out and maybe inviting in some haa,

Haa sounds on the exhale.

Like you're fogging up a window.

The breath can be easeful and I'll invite you to make a laugh on the exhale,

Even if you have to force it a little.

Shaking it out.

How would the freest version of you,

The goofiest version,

Let go and move and breathe?

See where that breath brings you and I offer you to sound or sigh or maybe you need silence on the exhales now.

Breathing in and out.

You're safe to express and in discomfort we can be strong.

You've got it.

Just a few more breaths.

And I will invite you to hold the breath and your next inhale.

You've got it.

Holding the breath,

Maybe taking in another sip of air.

Feeling into this.

Letting go when you are ready.

And coming into a rest and receive moment.

Receiving the work you have just done,

The benefits,

Even in a short amount of time.

You deserve happiness,

Laughter,

Joy,

Just as you are by being here.

And if it feels good,

High-fiving yourself or saying thank you to yourself.

I thank you for being here and breathing with me today.

And I encourage you to look for a moment to smile in the next couple days.

And that can be the sun shining on you or maybe you see something that makes you smile.

Whatever it is,

Looking for that.

Have a beautiful day.
