So we return,
Consciously return,
To the ever-present stillness and openness of imperturbable awareness.
This presence,
This timeless spaciousness,
Has not just arrived,
We have consciously returned.
Or it is the unmoving background behind all perceiving,
Experiences,
Senses and points of view.
It is unmoving.
It is multidimensional,
Boundless.
And this is here present.
All we need to do is to be still.
In this space,
Thoughts have fallen silent.
And here there is nothing to do.
Just be still.
Be here.
This presence is timeless.
It is permanently here in the now.
And here we are held in a knowing that is our essential nature.
The unborn presence of being.
There are no narratives here,
No sense of an identity.
This space is the universal heart of humanity itself.
This knowing is not confined to a body,
To a mind,
To a location.
For it cannot be located.
It simply is.
And whatever is happening in our lives,
Whatever it may be,
All is a temporary appearance within imperturbable awareness.
If thoughts do arise,
That's fine.
They're just clouds passing in the sky.
All waves temporarily appearing in the ocean until they recede back into the vast stillness,
Into the depths,
Into the silence,
Into the presence.
This field of knowing cannot be known,
Only recognized.
And nothing exists within it.
All is temporary.
All is in appearance.
An apparent reality is the outer world.
We can be dynamically active,
Pursue our goals,
Run businesses,
Raise a family,
Go for a hike.
All can happen effortlessly.
And knowing that all is a unique activity for that person,
That individual.
And all is temporary.
All is an appearance within infinite awareness.
And we carry this wisdom as a quiet knowing in the background.
And in that quiet knowing there is a discernment,
A clarity,
One of clear seeing,
A quiet understanding.
So we,
In turn,
Become much calmer.
And with that,
Tensions fall away.
Stresses don't appear.
Or if they do,
They're only temporary.
Because the clear seeing and knowing is the wisdom behind all.
We each come to this awakening,
This awareness,
In our own way.
But we know that there is a joy and a lightness of being that comes with this wisdom.
There are no mistakes.
There are experiences.
And within each experience,
There's a deeper sense of knowing,
Clear seeing.
And the heart opens fully.
Any sense of reactivity quietens.
And the body lightens.
And there's a general increase in wellness and balance within the body.
We are the unchanging background.
It's a temporary appearance.
Infinite awareness is the background.
Finite awareness is all that is temporary.
And this presence will never leave you.
It only takes one moment,
One conscious pause,
To recognize again this timeless,
Immovable presence of our awareness.
And even during the course of the day,
Whatever you may be doing,
It only takes a brief second just to connect.
Standing in line for a coffee,
Instead of looking at your mobile phone,
Just pause for a moment and come back to center.
Waiting at the traffic light,
Just pause for a second,
Come back to center.
Do this for short periods,
Many times each day.
And that is a continuous meditation.
And gradually,
The awareness of the unchanging background will become automatic.
And this ripples out beyond the individual,
Beyond the body-mind identity,
Out into the heart of humanity itself.
Frequency and dynamic energy is not contained.
It is universal,
Felt instantly at the furthest distance.
Imaginable.
The lightness of our being is our unborn presence.
This stillness is the source of all that will support,
Encourage,
Awaken your life for the benefit of the individual and for the benefit of others.
And it's in this stillness that we receive these little intuitive messages,
Inner callings,
Moments of great clarity and purpose,
Spontaneously appear.
And when they do appear,
If you can act on them,
Make a note of them,
Because they may not appear again in the same form.
And trust this.
Be surrendered to this.
This will be your unique truth.
This cannot be influenced by anything from the outside.
This is your truth for the benefit of you,
In support of you.
And that will be in support of others at the same time.
The dynamic nature of being that is fully available and accessible to you.
And now to finish this meditation,
Just take a nice long deep breath.
When you're ready,
You can just exhale.
Come back consciously into the body.
Wriggle the shoulders and move the toes and fingers and come back.
