This is a recording of the opening meditation from Live Events series in February 2026. This spacious track accompanies previously published Live Event recordings Nos 1-9. Once again, the meditator is led to the abiding Heart of Awareness-Presence, the spacious-freedom of the unmoving background to all perceiving and points of view. As we increasingly move away from the focus of an identity and the physical mind through the pointings of these meditations, we open ourselves to the formless nature of our inherent calm presence, one's inseparable and timeless awareness. Each meditation has a slightly different pointing, each bringing a recognition of the stillness - silence of the boundless nature of Being. This track is audio only, no backing music.

So,

In this stillness of presence,

There is no one,

No identity,

No personhood.

Inseparable awareness is the field of knowing before thought.

It is our timeless,

Essential nature.

It does not arrive,

And it does not leave.

It is eternally present in the now.

We remain fully open,

Allowing,

Fully awake to this experience,

And all is still.

Formless being.

There is no you here.

All sense of personhood has fallen away,

And there may be an awareness of lightness,

An expansiveness,

An unknowable,

Indefinable presence.

And it's from this eternal silence that all arises.

Silence is the voice of stillness,

And we are simply here.

Nothing to find,

Nothing to do,

Just be here.

The unchanging background behind all perceiving and all points of view,

Behind every experience,

Every sense,

And all that appears,

All that arises,

Is simply an appearance within infinite awareness,

A temporary appearance.

For all that is external from the physical body,

All that is seen,

All that is felt,

All that is experienced,

Is finite.

But the infinite nature of inseparable awareness is the silent background in which all this finite temporarily appears,

And the body is deeply relaxed,

And there is no awareness of mind,

Just still presence.

And here you rest,

Here you remain open,

Let everything go.

Any thoughts that appear,

They're only temporary,

They can be clouds passing in the sky,

Or a wave that settles back into the vast ocean,

And back again and again to the stillness,

The serenity of being.

This stillness presence is the very source of your infinite potential,

And your boundless freedom.

And it's when we are still,

When we are silent,

That those very subtle messages,

Intuitive inspirations appear.

They're always there,

But the noise of the mind normally is too powerful.

So it's only when we're still and silent,

Physically still,

Mentally silent,

That we have full access to this personal potential,

Unique to the individual.

And if possible,

When it appears,

Act on it,

For it may not reappear in the same form.

It may come as a dream,

It may come just as a moment of inspiration.

You will know,

And with it will come a lightness,

A joy,

A fulfilling feeling that is your truth,

And you have direct access to it,

When one's identity has been put to the side,

And all is still and quiet.

And here you are,

In the moment,

Fully open,

Whole,

Spacious,

And free,

Uncaused.

And this spaciousness is not within physical mind or body,

This is eternal,

Eternity itself,

The true heart of oneness.

And to finish this exercise,

Just take a nice,

Long,

Deep breath,

And then exhale.
