Welcome to Affirmations as the Natural Mind,
Part 4.
True happiness is not dependent on anything or anyone.
Seek direct experiencing of formless being over the accumulation of knowing.
Live without the attachment of being a personal me.
Give yourself permission to be ever new.
Loneliness is the abandonment of one's wholeness of being.
Life is not a series of highlights.
It is the continuous presence of inseparable awareness.
The you is a temporary,
Finite appearance of belief in the eternal awareness of formless being.
There is nothing to become as one is already whole and complete in the timeless presence of the now.
Do not claim ownership in what is happening as there is no one doing.
You are the best version of yourself as there is only now.
Thoughts do not belong to a you.
What arises in mind are random appearances of words that soon dissolve or reappear if there is an attachment.
It is the direct experiencing of being that gives rise to the awareness I am,
Which is prior to the finite thought I am.
It is not real.
It is a temporary appearance of consciousness,
A field of frequencies arising in what appears as form.
One perceives through experiences.
Yet mind has suffered trauma,
So has created defences to cope,
To control,
To mask the pain.
These defences and controls are one's lenses.
All is seen then through these lenses.
So what is real and what is a self-created world as seen through those lenses?
To know what is real,
One needs to recognise the natural mind of pure,
Untouched,
Unconditioned awareness.
Your achievements are wonderful,
But that is not what you are.
One is prior to all doing.
Nothing of yourself as an identity is relevant to the pure light of being.
The separate ego-self overlooks out of fear the infinite true self to preserve its finite identity.
We forget or ignore the truth of being,
Preferring instead the excitements of the senses and objective experiencing.
The content of your experiencing is not you.
It's a superficial distraction.
Who is it or what is it that is aware of your experiencing?
I serve the heart of humanity,
Nothing more.
One is the light presence from which all experiencing arises.
The greatest gift to oneself,
Be still,
Remain empty,
Stop doing and simply be.
One's grounded presence is that prior to thought.
Recognise this.
Of all places one has been,
If one still believes they are a person,
Then the ultimate destination of one's self-recognition is still to be witnessed.
Attachments to identity and achievements must be put aside if the truth of one's being is to be fully recognised.
Thoughts are not you.
They arise in consciousness independent of you.
They are either friend or foe,
Your choice.
The one who sees cannot be seen or known.
Life flourishes completely independent to the imagined you.
One's recognition is a deeply individual awakening,
Free of all surroundings,
Influences and experiences.
One doesn't have to be anything or anyone,
For one timelessly is pure and perfect.
What is self-recognition?
The unveiling of the inseparable radiance of one's formless being,
Pure awareness.
Whatever temporary form it may take,
All that is,
Rises from the grounded being of imperturbable awareness.
The world one perceives is a unique appearance unlike any other.
Why?
Because one is a mirror of mind's conditioning,
Or one's formless freedom.
Reality.
What one is before thought,
Pure awareness.
No need to go anywhere.
Simply relax as that which one is,
Spaciously aware.
Before human form,
One was pure awareness.
Then came mind,
The senses,
Thought,
Identity,
Then desire.
Without thought,
There is no mind.
Mind is present when there is thought.
Otherwise,
What is called mind is one's spacious awareness.
There arises an overwhelming stillness that has no agenda or cause,
And that is the changeless presence of being.
Dissolve all in the stillness of formless being.
In the timeless vastness of pure awareness,
There is no karma,
Only the being of the now.
Stop focusing on the you as this is the illusion of a separate identity.
Timeless awareness,
The quiet abiding of being,
Is whole and without gender.
Only the mind divides,
Names and attempts to define that which cannot be defined.
If one enjoys inner conversation,
One might speak to the greater universe,
Allowing the I of identity to fall away.
Otherwise,
One is conversing with the mind.
One's true and boundless potential shall remain limited if one still believes they are a finite individual.
