Begin by making yourself comfortable either sitting or lying down.
Turn your attention to your body.
Notice any tension in your body and gently let it go,
Allowing yourself to feel fully relaxed and more and more comfortable.
Notice your breath inhaling and then exhaling.
Notice how the air feels as you inhale and as you exhale.
Your body is feeling more and more relaxed and warm,
Warm and relaxed.
Now picture yourself outside on a beautiful day.
The sun is shining,
The weather is exactly how you like it,
And you look up at the vast sky above you.
There are so many clouds,
Bright,
Fluffy white clouds against the blue sky.
You decide to take a break from your day to enjoy the view.
You find the perfect spot to lie down,
Feeling warm and comfortable.
And as you gaze up at the sky you feel peaceful and grateful for this brief period of time you have allowed yourself to enjoy nature and enjoy this moment.
As you look at the clouds you begin to notice all the various shapes and colors of the clouds.
The sun is shining on some of the clouds.
They are gleaming and bright.
Other clouds have shades of yellow and gray.
Take a few moments to notice all the shades and colors of the clouds.
What do you see?
What do you see?
Now turn your attention to the size of the clouds.
Some may be enormous while others small and delicate.
What do you see?
What do you see?
Now turn your attention to the shapes of the clouds.
What do you see?
Some clouds may be fluffy and others wispy.
You may be able to see clouds that are the shape of an animal or an object.
Take a few moments to notice the various shapes of the clouds.
What do you see?
What do you see?
Now begin to notice the movement of the clouds.
Are they moving altogether or do they move at a different pace?
What direction are they moving in?
Are they slowly drifting by or are they moving swiftly across the sky?
Notice how the movement of the clouds change their shape,
Size,
And color.
Take a few moments to observe the way the clouds change as they move across the sky.
What do you see?
What do you see?
Clouds are like the present moment,
Always moving and changing,
Sometimes slowly,
Sometimes swiftly,
Sometimes going unnoticed,
And other times in full focus.
You take in a few more moments to look at the clouds in the sky,
Spending the time on what you want to focus on.
What do you see?
And now you bring your attention back to your body,
Feeling the warmth of a sun on your skin.
You take some time to wiggle your fingers and toes and stretch your arms and legs.
And when you are ready,
You open your eyes and you can sit or stand up now and continue your day.
