Hello and thanks for joining me for a gentle meditation to help you transition from season to season,
From life event to life event,
From day to day,
Moment to moment,
And breath to breath.
Because in each transition is an opportunity to be new,
To make space and let in light and potential.
I'm Suyapa and I'm honored and pleased to guide you through this meditation.
So please take a moment to relax.
Allow yourself to sit with your spine upright and your head pointing to the sky so that your crown is up and your spine is down.
Your hands are resting gently on your lap.
Your eyes are closed.
Let your breath be soft.
Notice your breath.
Notice your breath as it moves through your nose,
As it moves through your chest,
As your breath moves to your belly.
Simply notice your breath.
Continue breathing.
It's the most natural thing that you do.
Your breath has the power to allow you to be brand new at any moment,
To shift your awareness,
Your life experience,
And even your well-being.
Every breath is a moment to heal.
Continue focusing on your breath.
During this meditation,
I'd like you to have soft focus and awareness only on breathing.
Your mind may become active as the mind is designed to think.
That is all right.
All right.
Allow your thoughts to float away as you return your focus and awareness to your breath,
Eventually noticing the difference between your thoughts and the essence of you.
Now with intention and acknowledgement of your transition into this moment of meditation,
Shift your focus to breathing,
A sensation of breathing,
The expansion of your belly,
The contraction of your belly.
Let this help your awareness of the flow of the inhale and exhale with each contraction and expansion.
Notice the rise and fall of your chest.
As you inhale,
Your chest expands and rises,
Allowing you to take in more air.
As you exhale,
Your chest flattens,
Contracts,
Contracts,
Allowing you to expel the air that you've used and no longer need.
Continue breathing with your awareness on your breath.
Begin to notice now your breath falling in the center of your chest.
As the center of your chest expands with the inhale,
Filling with fresh air and the contraction,
The release as old stagnant air is released from your chest.
As your thoughts drift away,
You continue focusing on breathing.
Your awareness flows with the inhale,
The exhale,
The rise and fall,
The expansion and the contraction.
Let your breath flow like a wave.
The wave flows with the inhale and the exhale,
Easily and steadily.
Let the wave expand throughout your body,
Relaxing any areas that feel tense or tight.
Let the wave relax your shoulders.
Let the wave flow down your arms and hands.
Feel the tension in your neck and head releasing as the wave of inhale and exhale brings fresh air and softness.
Let a wave of breath flow down your legs to your feet.
As the breath,
The softness and the space relax your entire body from your head down to your feet,
All by breathing.
Each breath is a micro moment of healing.
Allow your breath to heal you.
Feel the wave as the inhale and exhale work together to create what we call breathing.
They coexist.
They need each other,
Rely on each other for existence.
In order to inhale,
You must exhale and release.
In order to receive new life,
New light,
And new opportunities,
You must exhale and release stagnation,
Old energy,
Old ideas and patterns to make space for something new.
Continue breathing,
Feeling softness in your chest,
Exhaling tension and worry,
Noticing the rhythm of the wave.
Now bring one hand to your heart and one hand to your belly as you connect your breath with your hands and let the wave become a circle.
Let your inhale and exhale become a circle of life,
A circle of life,
One flowing right into the other.
The inhale becomes the exhale.
The exhale becomes the inhale,
Round and round as you breathe into your body,
Into your heart,
Into your cells,
Your blood,
Your bones.
Let yourself be renewed with each breath,
Continuing the circle of life with the circle of your life force.
Always in recreation,
Always in flow,
Always moving.
Release tension,
Release tightness,
And welcome in space.
Welcome in opportunity and potential.
Everything is possible in the light and in your life.
Continue breathing softly as you ride the flow of your circle of breath.
Begin to deepen and lengthen your breath,
Feeling your hands as you come back to your body,
Moving your fingers,
Feeling your feet underneath you,
And moving your toes.
Let your eyes flutter open and return to the room that you are in,
Bringing with you this softness,
This space,
The connection of breath,
And the limitless potential that lives within you.
Thank you for joining me for this moment of meditation and practice in transition.
I hope that you've enjoyed and that you join me again.
My name is Suyapa Jackson.
Until next time,
I pray that you stay in the light,
Stay in the light,
Honor your life,
And live in love.
