This guided meditation is to help in dealing with a general sense of overwhelm.

For those feeling the pressure increasing,

Whether it's in your body,

Emotionally,

Psychologically,

Physically,

Feeling like you can't take anything more in.

Really just overwhelmed with the energy and all that you have to deal with on a daily basis.

Getting yourself comfortable in a chair or laying down,

Whatever works best for you.

Grabbing a blanket or a pillow if necessary.

And just taking a deep breath.

And exhaling through the mouth.

Exhaling any excess weight,

Tension,

Pressure,

Slowing down the rhythm of your body,

The rhythm of your breath,

Taking this time and the space to just breathe.

Having absolutely no expectations for this experience and shutting out any of your to-do lists,

Anything,

Any expectations from people,

Places,

Environments outside of this meditation.

Surrendering to this moment right now,

To this feeling right now.

Releasing worries,

Stresses,

Tension in the mind.

Letting your muscles contract and relax,

Melting into the ground below you.

Taking another deep breath in,

Filling your lungs and chest fully.

Letting it energize you and out through your mouth,

Releasing the excess,

The expectations,

The pressure,

The weight.

Letting it go,

Releasing,

Seeing it drift off into the distance like a fog moving away from your body.

Letting your body becoming lighter,

Brighter,

More connected.

Exhaling to your breath.

Seeing your mind neutralizing,

Releasing,

Letting go.

The expectations,

The pressure,

The tensions of every day,

Everything that's going on in the world just in general,

Being bombarded with negativity in the news.

Feeling the pressure of going back to school and work,

Getting the kids ready,

Getting back into your routines.

All of the pressure that comes along with that.

Getting lunches ready,

Cooking supper at the end of the day,

Organizing your whole life.

Feeling the energy of the collective with everything that's going on.

Not having enough time to do the things that you want to do or not finding it.

Putting pressure on yourself to do more than you need to,

Not taking care of yourself.

Move into this and release,

Let it go.

The pressure of needing perfection.

The pressure of needing to have it all done all at once in a specific timeframe.

The pressure of needing to feel good all the time.

Societal expectations.

The pressure of needing to be someone else to please others.

Feel with every breath releasing all of these little details that we hold onto all day long that just add up constantly.

With every breath out releasing more and more.

Feeling yourself becoming more weightless,

More connected to yourself,

Your core energy,

Your core calm,

Your core nature,

Who you are at a spirit level.

Releasing the density of this physical world of the pain,

The suffering,

The sadness,

The anger,

Just the general energy that gets pushed around by everyone everywhere.

Releasing all of this and reconnecting to yourself.

Your core energy,

Who you are beyond everyone's expectations and even your own,

Your true nature,

Your true being.

Take a few moments to breathe here and really feel this connection free from the overwhelm of everyday life,

Sitting and basking,

Embracing this calm,

The quiet,

The serene,

Seeing beyond all these distractions and expectations and just being and not being enough for you to just be you at your own core,

Your own energetic frequency.

Embrace this,

Feel it,

Experience it,

Fully integrate this into your body and your mind and your soul,

Who you're really meant to be,

Who you really are.

Feel the ease that comes along with this,

Connecting with your genuine,

Authentic self,

Your natural energy,

How easy it feels,

Weightless light,

No confusion,

No fog,

Just being,

Connecting.

Free of feelings of shame or expectations,

Pressure,

Tension,

Just being,

Letting all of that go,

Connecting with your mind,

Body and soul,

Spirit,

Connecting with your true energy in this moment,

Feeling every muscle in your body aligning,

Releasing a little bit of weight,

Feeling its true energy.

You might feel a tingling sensation as this alignment passes through each muscle,

Every bone,

Every inch of your body.

Looking at your fingers,

Moving up into your hands,

Your palms,

Up into your wrists,

Your forearms,

Your elbows,

Arms and shoulders,

Feeling this energy integrating relaxed natural rhythm,

Your own pace,

Your own energy.

Allowing up into your neck,

Your chest,

Connecting into your abdomen,

Your torso,

All the way up into your head,

Your chin,

The front and back of your thighs,

The calm natural rhythm of your body,

Integrating all together,

Naturally flowing at your own rhythm.

Feel this beautiful light energy,

Integrate it all into your physical body,

Really begin to stretch out your limbs a little bit.

Stretching out your fingers,

Moving your toes and feet.

Maybe rolling your neck a little bit.

Rolling your shoulders back,

Straightening that spine.

Using your arms and torso a little bit,

Shaking it off.

And when you're ready,

You can open your eyes and fully reintegrate yourself into your room.
