Circular Breathing with Belly Pumping This practice is designed to move qi,

Rana,

Energy through your system.

We will first begin with deep breathing in through the mouth and out through the mouth.

We will be here for a few minutes followed by pumping the belly and out through the mouth.

Moving the belly in and out in the pace that feels good for you.

You can try it now,

Pulling the belly button in and pushing the belly button out.

So let's begin by just dropping our awareness into the body.

So on your next breath,

Breathing in completely and exhaling completely.

Breathing all the way down to your belly.

And keep all of your awareness and attention on the belly.

And just checking in for a moment,

Noticing at least three sensations in the body.

And on your next breath,

Exhaling completely.

Empty,

And let's breathe it in,

Nice deep breath.

And let it go.

Let's keep going.

this was a fantastic practice. controlling the core independent of the breath (or, while performing a hold) was an interesting, isolative practice for my physical body. thematic detachment built into the meditation made for profound personal realizations about the ordering of sensations, and the ordering of the steps we take in our lives. I’m so grateful for the practice of breathing meditation 😌🙏🏾.
