Relax.
Close your eyes.
Sit back and allow yourself just to sink in.
Sink deeply into the sensations of your body.
Take a deep breath.
Just notice the feeling of the breath going in and expanding your lung.
Notice the sensation of your heart beating as your chest tightens.
Continue to notice these sensations of the breath in your abdomen,
The back of your torso.
Continue breathing deeply,
Expanding your belly,
Expanding your ribs,
Lifting your collarbones up in the air.
You're filling your lungs so deeply.
Deep yogic.
On the next inhale,
Focus your awareness on your heart.
Experience your heart expanding with the breath.
Imagine it growing and as you exhale,
Imagine all that energy rushing out of your heart to all the extremities of your body.
Let's just follow that energy on every exhale.
Follow it all the way out to your fingertips.
And keep breathing.
Keep breathing.
And notice the feeling of your breath in your left hand.
As you inhale,
What shifts?
Can you feel any sensational shifts in either hand?
As you inhale,
What changes?
Focus your mind on these hands.
You feel that?
I feel that.
Focus the mind on these sensations and bring awareness outside of these sensations.
Wrap your mind around them and then feel the space around your hand.
You can pick one side if that's easier.
Concentrate.
Now expand your awareness.
Expand your awareness beyond your hands into a greater space outside of them.
Can you feel the space around you?
Now bring your awareness.
Bring your awareness to the sound of the bell.
Hear this bell.
It's a continuous,
Everlasting bell.
Is it possible to just simply listen without an opinion?
Is it possible?
Deeply listen.
Follow the sound of this bell into the depth of your being.
Where does it go?
Deeper and deeper and deeper.
Where does this unopinionated listening reside in your body?
And who is this deeper listening?
Who are you at this depth of listening?
And now come back.
Back into the head.
Look at your eyes.
Keep them still closed.
Where are the edges of your vision?
What's beyond the edges of your vision?
Can you notice the space around the edges of your vision?
And keep expanding this space.
Keep expanding this space to encompass your head.
This blackness around your vision is now encompassing your head.
And expand this space beyond your head.
The space.
There is this void.
The space.
The back of your head.
Feel it.
The edges of your sensation.
Look at it.
It is everything that you are not.
It's not this sound.
Or this one.
It's not the bell.
It's not your vision.
It's not the sensation of your head.
Or your hands.
What's outside of all of that?
What's beyond these sensations?
No eyes.
No ears.
No nose.
No mouth.
No tongue.
No thoughts.
Are this.
What was that?
I thought I'm not supposed to think.
It doesn't matter.
Look at any thought that comes up and realize this is not you.
Just like these sensations.
These seem to arise and fall away all on their own.
What are these thoughts arising in?
Can you notice the space before?
After?
Each thought?
What is the space within which these thoughts arise?
Fall away?
Do they go?
No.
All these thoughts,
Feelings,
Emotions,
Sensations arise and fall away.
In what?
This space.
Zoom back out to the space around you.
At the edges of your sensations.
Around your eye.
Around your head.
Around your thought.
How can these possibly be you?
And if these are not you,
Who are you?
I don't know.
Here there is no knowing.
It's not necessary.
Here there's pure freedom.
Pure.
Empty.
Pay attention to this.
Can you see this?
It's everything you are not seeing.
Everything you are not feeling.
Everything you are not thinking.
This is the negation of all.
And yet,
This can be noticed.
This can be noticed.
You can be noticed.
Let go.
Let go.
