Hi guys,

Welcome.

My name is Dan and I'm gonna be guiding us through a no rules breathing session today.

This means you can breathe through your nose or through your mouth or a combination of the two.

Lie down,

Sit down,

Whatever works best.

Here we go.

Round number one.

Breathe in,

Breathe out,

Breathe in,

Breathe out,

In,

Out,

In,

Out,

In,

Out,

In,

Out,

Into the belly,

Into the chest,

And back out.

Like a wave,

Make it circular.

Keep it circular.

Fully in and letting go.

Just keep on going.

No pause between inhalation and exhalation.

Fully in,

Letting go.

Fully in,

Letting go.

Ten more.

Let's give it all we got.

Five more.

Last one.

Fully in and let go.

All right,

One minute breath hold from now on.

Be in this moment.

Let the body do what the body is capable of doing.

Be aware of your heartbeat.

Slow it down.

Just be in this moment.

Feel the relaxation spread down to your fingertips,

To your toes,

To the base of your neck and head.

You are almost there.

Do you want to prolong your breath hold?

Pause the video now.

Pause the video now.

Okay.

In 5,

4,

3,

2,

1.

Recovery breath in.

And we're holding for 15.

Exhale.

Round number two.

Back into the rhythm.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Fully in,

Letting go.

Fully in,

Letting go.

In,

Out.

In,

Out.

In,

Belly,

Chest,

Let go.

Think of a wave.

Circular breath.

Just keep on going.

No pause.

Inhale.

Exhale.

In.

Peace.

Out.

Stress.

Ten more.

Nice,

Deep,

Circular breath.

Let's give it all we got.

Five more.

Last one.

Fully in.

And exhale.

And stop.

A minute and a half breath hold from now on.

If your hands and feet are tingling,

If you feel your body temperature is changing,

That's okay.

You're doing phenomenal.

If you need to breathe at any point,

That's okay.

You're almost there.

Okay.

Recovery breath in.

And hold for 15 seconds.

In 3,

2,

1.

Exhale.

Get ready for round number three.

We are back into the rhythm.

In,

Out.

In,

Out.

Like a wave.

Coming in,

And out.

Follow the rhythm of your body.

Keep breathing.

In with peace,

And out with stress.

In.

Let the breath take on a life of its own.

Let the breath breathe you.

In.

All right.

Ten more.

Let's give it all we got.

In.

Last one.

Fully in.

And on the exhale,

Stop.

One and a half minute breath hold.

Become aware of the feeling in your body,

Your heart,

Your lungs,

The blood running through your body.

Feel your nervous system fully relax.

30 seconds left.

You're almost there.

You're almost there.

Do you want a longer breath hold?

Pause the video now and breathe in when you feel the urge.

All right.

Breathe in.

And 15 second hold.

Exhale in three,

Two,

One.

Letting go.

And return now to normal breathing.

Move your body,

Starting with your fingers and your toes.

Just let your breathing normalize.

Wherever you are,

Have an amazing now moment.

I'll see you in the next session.

Enjoy.

And now for today's reading.

Daodejing by Lao Tzu.

Verse 78.

Nothing in the world is as soft and yielding as water.

Yet for dissolving the hard and inflexible,

Nothing can surpass it.

The soft overcomes the hard.

The gentle overcomes the rigid.

Everyone knows this is true,

But few can put it into practice.

Therefore,

The master remains serene in the midst of sorrow.

Evil cannot enter his heart.

Because he has given up helping,

He is people's greatest help.

True words seem paradoxical.
