Hello unique learners and welcome to this visualization for your life trap unrelenting standards and perfectionism.

This visualization is based on the talk about changing unrelenting standards you can find on my insight timer profile.

So are you ready to do some grounding exercises?

Let's slow everything down.

I invite you to sit with a straight spine so you can join me in the following breathing exercises.

But first place your feet on the floor and make contact with the ground beneath you.

You might want to rub your feet over the floor over the surface to make contact.

Now have a sense of how you are seated and feel your body in this position.

You can join me in the following breathing exercise.

Where you breathe in through your nostrils and once your lungs are completely full you hold it for a couple of seconds and then you breathe out slowly through pursed lips and make sure the out breath is longer than the inhale.

So breathe in through the nose,

Hold it and breathe out with pursed lips.

Breathe in through the nose,

Hold it and let all that negativity go.

And one more deep,

Big breath in,

Hold it and breathe out and fold over so that you can completely empty your lungs.

Next time breathe in,

Hold it and make it a loud outside.

Excellent well done.

Let's go inwards into that body a little bit more and ask yourself what emotions am I feeling?

Try to label your emotion for example I feel anxiety and that's okay.

I feel happiness and that's okay.

If you get distracted just return to your breath and try to label your emotions without dwelling on them.

And can you set a kind intention of what you would like to achieve today in this visualization practice and try to make it a kind one and not from that inner critic.

For example I would like to learn more about my unrelenting standards.

Now I'm going to ask you to visualize and list the advantages of you trying to meet your high standards on a daily basis and really try to visualize yourself how you look and how you would act.

Really see yourself and ask how would you feel trying to meet your high standards on a daily basis.

Now can you visualize and list the disadvantages of pushing so hard in these areas.

And ask yourself what are these areas?

Is it work?

Personal life?

Friends?

Family?

All of the above?

I'm going to ask you to breathe in that negativity and let it all out with your outbreath.

Now shift and try to feel and see an image of what your life would be like without these pressures and high standards.

How do you feel?

Does it make you smile?

And if you were to drop these high standards a little bit how would people be around you?

How would work and daily life go and really see and feel it?

Excellent,

Well done.

Can you give yourself a hug or place your hands on your heart?

And thank yourself for investing this time in you.

And you can now come back slowly,

Move around a little bit.

And before you open your eyes can you ask yourself one more time,

How am I feeling and how did it change?

You can open your eyes if you haven't done so already and I would like to thank you for taking part in this practice.

Namaste,

Have a lovely day or night ahead.
