This is my reflection on the Year of the Snake: what it meant collectively, what it may have brought up for you, and how it unfolded in my own life. I created this for those of us who felt like we were moving through a year that looked quiet on the outside but was intense, emotional, and deeply transformative within. Snake years in Chinese astrology are subtle, introspective, and all about shedding old skins. In this talk, I share the themes of letting go, creative experimentation, and the invisible inner growth that defined my year. Thank you Dr Kim, my snake year was all about deepening my spiritual practice in yoga, meditation and pranayama and shedding any “fear” for other peoples opinions about my deepening. I agree - from the outside this year has looked like a simple trot, but on the inside deep transformation and trust has been formed. 8 fascinating minutes…. I feel I’ve not done with shedding yet to be honest. Looking at some things it’s due. Other things I’ve had positive transformation in situations and relationships and in some case both together. Some shedding was unexpected and some a part of a process I was already on.
