Hi,
I'm Dr.
Kim.
Move to your bedroom,
Dim your lights and lie down on your back on your bed.
As we begin,
I want to gently remind you that bloating can come from many causes.
Food allergies,
Gut issues,
Hormones or medical conditions that may need attention.
This session is not a diet plan and isn't meant to treat allergies.
What we are doing here supports the nervous system patterns that amplify bloating.
The gripping,
The emotional overwhelm,
The stress tension in the diaphragm and belly.
As your system releases,
It's completely normal if you notice gas moving.
Stomach gurgling or even a release through burping or passing gas.
This is your body letting go.
Allow whatever wants to happen to happen.
Now let's begin.
Take a slow breath in through your nose and let the exhale fall out of you effortlessly.
Now place one hand on your belly and the other on the side of your ribs.
Feel the warmth of your palms radiating into your abdomen.
Feel your breath wander into the support of your hands.
As you inhale,
Allow your belly to rise into your lower hand and your ribs widen into your upper hand.
Nothing forced,
Just soft expansion.
On your exhales,
Let everything drop and melt downwards like warm sand settling back into the earth.
Take your time here.
Inhale the belly rising,
Ribs expanding.
Exhale everything softening back into place.
Feel the warmth of your hands like anchors of safety,
Inviting your abdomen to widen,
Loosen and take up space again.
You may notice emotions surface,
Heaviness,
Overwhelm.
Let them move like your breath.
All the way out of you on each exhale.
Your breathing becomes slow,
Wide and low.
Let your belly relax more than you think it can.
Let it spill outwards,
Unguarded,
Unheld.
Now slide your fingertips to a point halfway between the end of your sternum and your belly button.
Gently press your fingertips here.
This point is called CV 12.
It helps to relieve fullness,
Distension and tightness in the belly.
Start to apply firm pressure here,
Moving your fingertips in soft circles.
This point may feel a little tender if it is blocked.
Let your breath travel beneath your fingers,
Lifting your belly on the inhale and softening deeply on the exhale.
Stay here,
Releasing this point for a few slow breaths.
Release this point.
Move your hands to the space in between your belly button and your groin.
This is your lower energy center,
Your point of stability.
Apply gentle pressure with your fingertips.
Start to move them in slow circles.
Feel this activation of the energy center and let the warmth spread through your abdomen.
Feel your breath move to this area,
Low and deep.
Notice any sounds or gurgling coming from your gut.
Allow everything to release.
Place your palms flat,
One hand on top of the other.
Begin slow,
Soft circles,
Moving clockwise,
Up the right side of your abdomen,
Across the top and down the left side.
This follows the natural direction of your intestines and encourages movement,
Release and ease.
Let your hands be warm and soothing.
Let your belly be soft and receptive.
Feel the tissues under your hands relaxing,
Layers softening,
Releasing,
Making space.
Notice any gas moving,
The stomach gurgling.
Or if anything shifts internally,
Welcome it,
Your body is finding flow again.
Keep this massage slow,
Calming,
Rhythmic,
As though you're guiding your belly back into gentle,
Natural motion.
When you feel ready,
Bring both knees towards your chest.
Use your hands to hold them in place.
Not pulling,
Just allowing your lower back to stretch.
Feel the compression of your guts.
Take a slow breath,
Filling the back of your waist.
And exhale,
Softening your belly completely.
Let your pelvis feel heavy,
Dropping down into the bed.
Your abdomen soft,
Your lower back lengthened and free.
This position opens the lumbar discs,
Allowing your nerves to exit and supply your organs.
Take one last easy breath here.
Release your legs downwards.
Notice how relaxed you feel,
Both in your mind and your belly.
Allow yourself to smile if it feels good for you.
If your belly feels warmer,
Softer and more spacious,
That means your body has shifted towards rest and digest.
The state where true digestive healing begins.
If you feel called to explore the deeper mind-gut connection,
The emotional patterns and the real reasons behind bloating and digestive dysfunction,
You can find the full course on my Insight Timer profile.
It's called the Mind-Gut Connection.
Thank you for practicing with me.
Have a wonderful day or night.
