When the mind is still,

Our presence shines through.

The ability to be truly present can become the most beautiful and powerful experience that humans will ever have.

Hello everybody.

I'm Tim Anadkor and in this video we'll go over 9 meditation tips.

Helpful to anyone who already has established a practice or for someone who is currently interested in profoundly changing their experience of life.

Everybody's meditation experience will be different and it will develop continuously as you mature your practice.

If you feel like you're not getting the same benefits as others,

You can try different techniques or you can get pointers from a professional.

Meditation aims to be a practice for the rest of your life.

It's about getting to the core of what you are.

Tip 1.

Create a routine.

How long you meditate and even the specific practice matter less than simply creating a consistent routine.

It's often recommended to meditate first thing in the morning,

Before your mind gets foggy with memories of yesterday and the imagination of tomorrow.

For myself,

The preferred time of my practice is right before lunch.

Start with an amount of time that you feel comfortable with.

If you can do 5 minutes,

12 or 20 minutes,

Even better.

But do it every day.

Maybe evaluate after a week or so to optimize your time.

Create a solid routine.

Tip 2.

Research theory.

Spend some time researching different concepts of consciousness.

You can find powerful leads in some of the most ancient texts that are still preserved.

Learn from some of the greatest experiencers and thinkers who can share their insights with you.

The better general understanding of consciousness you have,

The easier meditation will become.

Learn from the best.

Tip 3.

Meditation is natural.

Experiencing deep meditation and even the raising of the Kundalini are basic yet profound principles of the human condition.

In times before,

The cultural and spiritual atmosphere was much more conducive to these kinds of experiences and now our lives are full of distractions that give us immediate dopamine.

Don't be scared of the journey.

It has the potential to be the most amazing journey of your life.

Tip 4.

Connect with life.

Your body is made out of the food that you eat.

Do you want the building blocks of your body to have had a pleasant previous life?

Or would you like the food that you eat to have experienced agony,

Suffering and a painful death?

Becoming vegan or vegetarian are natural aspects for a life that lives in harmony with existence and with the animals in the world.

Tip 5.

Learn about chakras.

Our bodies are made of energy,

Energy that moves around our body on all sorts of levels,

Frequencies and manifestations.

Human beings have seven primary chakras.

Chakras are pools of energy,

Of human experience,

Where all physical and non-physical energies flow through or encounter blockage.

Learning about how we can consciously direct energies through our body will greatly enhance our well-being on all levels.

Tip 6.

Cold showers.

Cold showers improve blood circulation,

Enhance the immune system and relieve stress.

Taking a cold shower before a meditation can intensify your experience.

Ice baths,

Even better.

Take a cold shower a day to keep the doctor away.

Tip 7.

Have a dedicated space for your meditation.

Having a space that's set up for your spiritual experience makes it easy and inviting to sit and meditate whenever you want.

If you do regular meditation in the morning,

Throughout the day you could sit down for a quick minute to reconnect with your inner peace.

A peaceful experience is essential to gain clarity of mind.

So make space for yourself.

Tip 8.

Lotus position.

The physical position you keep during meditation affects the flow of your life energies and the potential of your awareness.

The lotus position,

Being the most conducive position of all,

Is something that you can practice towards.

You can start with the half lotus or just the easy position.

Lotus is not easy for everybody to physically achieve right now,

But depending on your current abilities,

If you practice basic asanas every day for up to 10 minutes,

You will probably be able to do the full lotus in less than 2 years.

Tip 9.

Grounding.

Our physical bodies are part of a universal circuit of energy,

From regular electricity to energies that we have no way of measuring yet.

Being surrounded by devices,

Our bodies are being charged with energies that we don't want to keep stored in our bodies.

And grounding for at least 15 minutes a day clears much of it out.

Put your bare feet on a rock,

On the grass,

On some sand or on a tree and let all that weighs you down flow away.

Awareness needs to stay grounded until you learn how to fly.

I hope that you'll find some of these tips helpful.

Which of these tips was your favorite?

Thank you for watching and see you on the inside.
