And welcome.
Thank you for taking the time to join me for this meditation today.
Begin in a comfortable seat.
Begin to lengthen your spine upwards as you root down through the base of your pelvis,
The base of your spine.
Allow the eyes to close.
Begin the process of softening into your space.
Feeling the body start to settle.
Allow the mind to settle onto the sensation of your breathing.
Begin to slowly encourage a longer inhale and a smoother exhale back out.
Create a little bit of a hushing breath with the exhale,
Just like this.
Inhaling and exhaling.
Inhaling.
Exhaling.
Inhaling.
Exhaling.
Exhaling.
Exhaling.
Continuing on.
Continuing just like this.
Noticing how the inhale takes a little bit of power,
Like the rising of a wave in the ocean.
Whereas the exhale is the smoothing out of that wave,
The gentle release without force.
Simply letting go.
Feeling the power of the inhale in your body.
The softening of the exhale as it breathes back out of the body.
In times of greater change in our lives,
There can be so much uncertainty.
So much uncertainty that comes with change and making these big decisions.
But maybe making these decisions because they feel more aligned with who we are moving forward.
Can we invite,
Can we allow these times of uncertainty to feel more like times of possibility?
And I think it's important to honor that with all the changes that life encourages us towards,
There is also a sense of safety for us to lean into.
A sense of safety within the roots of rest we have cultivated in ourselves over time.
Before we take a big leap,
We check our roots.
We check that we're ready and sometimes we may not feel ready.
But we know in our heart something needs to shift.
Can we root down into this sense of inner support and sovereignty while we dare to reach for more for ourselves?
There is always an opportunity to sink into each new day with a sense of wonder and curiosity.
Each moment,
However grand or minute,
Everything that comes becomes a gift.
When we're in curiosity,
Everything is a big question mark.
You tend to hold on tightly and grip the reins of life with white knuckled hands.
Allow these next few breaths to fill up your body and on the exhale,
Feel those reins slip away.
Lean into your roots and let go.
Maybe even here you use your hands to really grip on the inhale,
Create a fist.
On the exhale,
Open the hands softly,
Slowly,
Or maybe you spread the fingers out wide.
Do that a few more times if it feels right.
How would it feel to release that need to control?
To funnel life through your own version of what you think it should be?
And instead jump into the ocean of everything that it could be.
The oneness becomes a gift.
Everything that goes is also a gift.
Holding on to nothing.
We offer ourselves to life's natural rhythms.
To the openness of our own heart.
Our own heart's longing and call.
Notice if it feels scary to be in this place.
This place with a deep tether to yourself,
Your heart,
Your body.
Body softening towards life around you,
To life moving through you.
Not one more moment rushing in this life.
What would it feel like to lean into everything you are with a heart wide open?
Let's commit to this self-discovery together.
Place a hand over your heart and feel free to say aloud or repeat after me in your mind now.
I am choosing to unlock and discover my inner mystery.
I am choosing to step more closely to the life unfolding within me and around me.
So I may come to each moment more awake and aware.
From this moment forward,
I am agreeing to actively step in to my tender center.
So to connect with the life that moves within me and through me.
I am choosing to follow my body's inherent wisdom.
And I am open and receptive to all the ways I will be guided.
Just hold your heart here for one more moment.
Feel your heartbeat underneath your hand.
Feel the rise and fall of your chest.
How alive you are in this moment.
Let's draw a big breath into this beautiful body.
Open the mouth.
And again.
Leaving no corner or crevice of this body untouched by your breath.
You can release your hands now.
Take as long as you need here.
And only as you're ready,
You can blink the eyes open.
And take in the colors of the room or space around you.
The textures.
Maybe the sounds.
And I hope you go through the rest of your day just a little more tenderly with your heart.
Thank you.
