Welcome,

I'm so glad you're here.

I'm Megan and I'll be guiding you through a priming meditation.

I was introduced to priming by Carissa Kuchas,

Who is the top female trainer for Tony Robbins.

Priming like priming a wall for a fresh coat of paint is a way to start from a fresh slate,

To clear your space,

Shift your focus,

And empower yourself to take action.

Every moment you're given is another opportunity to begin again.

So let's get started.

Find a chair in a relatively quiet space.

And for this meditation,

I want you to sit actively.

So bring yourself up to the edge of your seat,

Find your sit bones.

Place both of your feet on the floor.

And then do your best to sit up nice and tall.

Lift your shoulders back.

Press up through the top of your head.

And then when you're ready,

Close your eyes.

We're gonna go right into a breathing exercise because by changing your breath,

You change your state of being.

Now as you move into this exercise,

Just simply do your best.

We're gonna combine breathing with a baby bit of physical movement.

So with eyes still closed,

I want you just to reach your hands up super casually towards the sky.

And then as you reach up,

Open your hands.

And we're gonna inhale there and then close our hands as we exhale and pump down.

We're gonna do it kind of quickly.

Here we go.

Inhale.

Bring your hands to rest on your lap,

Palms up.

Keep your eyes closed and just feel the sensation,

The energy moving through your body.

Feel the shift already happening.

Now here we go.

We're gonna do another set.

Deep breath in.

Here we go.

Hands to your lap and pause.

Take a deep breath in.

Deep breath out.

For a moment here,

Just let yourself land.

Feel the sensations within.

Continue to sit up nice and tall and then here we go.

Last set.

Pause hands to your heart this time.

With your eyes still closed,

Hands on your heart,

Connect right to the center of your chest,

Your heart space.

And feel the power behind your heart,

The strength behind your heart as you breathe right into it.

Now we're gonna move into a practice of gratitude.

Right now I want you to call to mind one thing that you are really grateful for.

It can be a moment,

An experience,

A person from your past,

Your present moment or your future,

Anytime.

I want you to see this moment and just visualize it.

Step into it as though it's happening right now and just let gratitude fill you up.

Soak in the moment.

Breathe it in.

And then call to mind one more moment,

A new moment that you're super grateful for.

Let this one be simple.

The smile of a loved one.

The touch of someone's hand in passing.

A deep hug.

And I want you to see it and step into it.

Step into that moment as though it's happening right now.

And I want you to let yourself be surrounded by gratitude.

Let it fill you up.

I want you to step into one more,

One more moment.

Something from your past,

Your present,

Your future,

Person,

Place,

Thing,

Moment,

Experience,

Something you feel grateful for.

And see it,

Feel it,

Envision it.

And from the envisioning,

Can you embody it?

Can you embody gratitude right now in this moment?

Through your breath?

Through your body?

Feeling grateful,

Feeling thanks.

Now we're going to move into a part that's more like a visualization.

Or you can see this almost like a blessing or a prayer.

I like to see it as a washing over.

I really love water.

I live near the water.

I grew up in the low country around the salt water.

So I like to visualize this part as a washing,

A cleansing.

So I invite you to visualize it how you desire.

Now imagine just this colored light coming down right now.

And I want you to imagine it filling and healing your body.

Your mind,

Your thoughts.

And so I want you to do is grab your hands and reach them up again and then I want you to go down your body and feel this energy all the way down.

And then I want you to bring it all the way back up and imagine now that any thoughts,

Feelings that need to be healed,

They are just in this moment.

And then I want you to do it again and reach up and just call to this blessing,

This invitation of healing,

This washing or cleansing.

And then just ask for the best parts of you right now to be strengthened.

Bring your hands back to your heart space.

Pause.

And we're going to take a moment just to send all this energy that you've created,

All this energy that you've accessed,

That you've received through this healing process,

Your strengthening journey.

I want you to share it.

One of my favorite teachers says,

Transformation unshared can be worthless.

So share your transformation even if it's just with yourself right now.

Share it.

You can energetically close your eyes and envision someone.

I want you to share all your energy.

And now to share that,

I want you to go ahead and reach your arms out one at a time just almost like you're pulling energy out from your heart and chest and throwing it out.

You can imagine like a flower girl almost sprinkling petals from the bouquet onto the ground as she's walking or you can imagine a child throwing leaves up into the air.

I want you to imagine that just sharing this energy and then feel it going up and down,

Pouring out to your family,

Your loved ones,

Your clients,

Your friends,

Your colleagues,

Those ones that get on your nerves,

Even them.

Imagine strangers you've only met once.

Just share all this energy for a moment more.

We share this because we are because we all are.

I am because you are.

We all coexist.

We all live.

We're all walking each other home.

Share for a moment more pour into your loved ones.

Share open and giving.

Imagine your light,

This energy just radiating off you.

And then in this last moment,

Imagine your people,

All these people that you imagined you've pictured.

Imagine them pulling this light into them.

And in our last few moments together,

I want you to think about three outcomes or goals that you want the most.

So three things that are going to happen for you in the future.

And I want you to imagine them as though they're going to happen right now.

They're already done.

So let's call to mind that first thing,

Something that is going to happen for you in the future,

But call to mind it's already complete.

You've already done it and celebrate that feeling of completion and victory.

It's done.

You did it.

You're going to reach out and grab it and then pull it to your heart and say,

Yes.

And then I want you to imagine another one,

Another,

I like to call them future memories.

Your current self is setting your future self up for success.

You've already completed the task.

It's done.

Celebrate it,

Grab it and pull it to your heart and say yes.

And then here we go.

Dig deep.

This is the last one.

I want you to reach both hands out.

Biggest one yet.

Imagine this future memory,

This future goal,

Something you want.

It's already complete.

You've already done the work.

You're already there.

See it.

Step into it as real.

Let it surround you.

Let it embody you and then pull it to your heart and say yes.

And then I want you in this last few moments,

Go for it.

I want you just to reach out and grab moments and just pull them back to your heart and say yes.

These last few seconds together,

Reach out.

Yes.

And then pulling them back to yourself,

Pulling it into yourself.

Say yes.

Give yourself some energy.

All you have right now,

Pull it into yourself and say yes.

And then if you're able,

I want you to start to grow that movement.

Begin to stretch your arms up.

If you feel called,

Open up your eyes,

Sway your body a little,

Let in the light.

Let yourself feel this.

You have access to this any time you give yourself access.

Embody it.

Let it fill you up.

Now make today the day for a great day.
