Transcript

Finding a comfortable sitting position with your feet hip-width distance apart and close your eyes.

Visualize a glowing red light at the base of your spine providing a sense of stability and support.

With each gentle breath grounding you even more securely to the earth beneath you.

Allow yourself to fully embody the sensation of stability feeling rooted and steady in your body and in the present moment.

What does it feel like in your body to be stable within the gentle wind of your breath?

Each breath a little longer than the last.

Imagine rubbing your hands together to generate warmth and energy.

As you imagine placing your warm hands on your feet what do you sense?

Choose another body part to imagine touching with your warm hands.

As you continue with your mind's eye touching various parts of the body with your warm hands bring your awareness to any sensations you may be feeling.

Areas of warmth of your skin,

The sensation of your breath moving in and out of your body,

And any areas of tension or discomfort.

Allow yourself to fully experience these sensations without judgment simply observing and accepting them as they are.

With each breath imagine the energy of the earth filling you with a sense of groundedness and stability.

Centered with each inhale like a strong and resilient tree swaying gently in the breeze.

How does it feel to be completely safe and secure?

A warm bed,

A quiet ocean beach,

A surrender to gravity.

How does your body respond to a sense of security?

How does your mind respond to a sense of security?

How does your body respond to a sense of security?

How does your body respond to a sense of security?

A weight lifts off your shoulders.

A deep sense of relaxation washing over you.

Bask in your feeling of security.

Allowing it to fill you with a sense of calm,

Contentment.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

Awake and sense how you feel.

I have never done a meditation with Lance Tripp. I love his live time classes. Yogalates, Barre Fusion, Foot Yoga Friday, and more. I very much enjoyed this meditation and I’ll be looking for more. Thanks Lance!
