Hi,

My name is Joseph Robertson and welcome to Coherence Breathing Symphony.

This practice you're about to learn is probably the simplest,

Yet most effective ways of creating your own health,

Wellness,

And vitality.

Coherent breathing is the core of the practice that you're going to be doing.

You breathe in for six seconds and out for six seconds,

And therefore you're breathing at a rate of five breaths per minute.

It causes your heart rhythm to come into alignment with your breathing rhythm.

When you're feeling stress,

It's a good bet that your breathing rhythm and your heart rhythm are out of phase.

They're not lined up with each other.

And when you're feeling good or happy,

Whatever,

It's likely that your breathing rhythm and your heart rhythm are in coherence or are in alignment.

Because breathing is something that we can control,

We use the breath to leverage some control over all the other autonomic,

Automatic rhythms in the body.

This technique brings all of your rhythms,

Breathing,

Heart rhythm,

Brain rhythms,

Brain waves,

Into coherence.

The next two tracks are different.

All you have to do in the first one is follow along as I guide you to inhale three,

Four,

Five,

Six,

Exhale three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

In the longer one,

There is no narration.

You will still have the sound of breathing in the beginning.

You will still have the chime reminding you when you're to change from inhale to exhale like that.

And the music is basically the same.

Once you learn the basic technique,

Then you probably want to go straight to the longer one and practice with it.

In order to get the benefit out of practicing heart breathing,

You do need to practice for a minimum of eight minutes.

Ready?

Let's start track two and practice.

Thank you for the explanation. So the use of the word “coherence” in this context is different than Joe Dispenza’s use of the word, correct? I live with ME/CFS, POTS, EDS and MCAS… all different “lables” for dysautonomia. I am couch and bedbound for years now and am working on recommitting towards healing myself. Do you think this practice could help?
