Great morning and welcome to this guided meditation.

Please come to a seated meditative posture.

You can sit on a chair or sit cross-legged on a flat surface.

Round both of your sitting bones.

Relax your shoulders.

Relax your neck.

And straighten your spine.

Now raise your arms above your head and interlace your fingers.

As you inhale,

Stretch all the way up.

Reach for the sky.

And as you exhale,

Release your hands to the sides of your body or place them on your knees.

Gently close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in.

Hold.

And on your exhale,

Release all the tension from your body and welcome in this brand new day.

What a beautiful morning to connect to our breath and to greet ourselves after a night of sleep.

This meditation is a great way to set up for an amazing day ahead.

Take a deep breath in and a full out breath.

Releasing any drop of sleep left in our bodies.

Breaking in the present moment,

We cast our awe at the amazing sensations being awake brings.

Now please visualize the breaking of dawn.

Picture the sun rising from the horizon.

The sun rising higher into the sky over a mountain top.

Casting its sunlight on every tree.

Every branch and every leaf.

The plants open themselves up to receive the sun's energy.

It receives and then it gives.

To whom?

It gives to us.

The plants release optimum levels of oxygen in the morning.

And in turn,

The plants give us their fresh,

Pure and clean air.

Keeping us alive.

How wonderful it is to take that first breath in the morning.

How wonderful it is to feel movement in our bodies.

And how wonderful it is to meet our waking self.

Albert Einstein once said,

There are two ways to live your life.

One as though nothing is a miracle and the other as though everything is a miracle.

You have the power to pave your own mindset.

Move away from having a fixed mindset.

And instead,

Open up to growth.

The mind doesn't care what you plant,

But it returns what you plant.

The more you step into positivity and see everything as a miracle,

Miracles will come back to you.

Make the choice that allows you to move the way love makes you move and not the way fear makes you move.

If any negative thoughts come up,

Just allow them to pass.

Don't hold on to them or start a dialogue.

And most importantly,

Don't bring any judgment.

Just let go.

We often jump into the day without taking any time for ourselves.

And now,

This morning,

We are taking the time to be still and to fully immerse in the present moment.

Take a deep breath in and a full breath out.

As we awaken,

We realize that the only constant is change.

Instead of pushing it away,

We acknowledge and welcome the beginnings it brings just as the sun rises in the east.

On the other hand,

We retire the bad habits and negative thoughts just as the sun sets in the west.

Take a deep breath in.

Pause.

And on your exhale,

Release everything that won't serve you for the day ahead.

Let it all go.

Every day is an opportunity.

Every day is a gift.

Every day is a miracle.

Make this opportunity and make the most of the gifts the day brings.

Make the commitment to practice this meditation consecutively.

And I guarantee that you will see profound change in your life.

Thank you for being here.

And thank you for showing up for yourself.

Now,

Gently become aware of your body.

Wiggle your toes.

Wiggle your fingers.

Bring some movement back into your body and gently open your eyes.

Take a moment to notice how you feel now compared to how you felt before beginning this meditation.

Wishing you a great morning and a great day ahead.

Thank you so much for this lovely morning meditation Yinki :) A fabulous meditation, as always :) This was truly the best way to start my day and I feel calm and grounded, so thank you! I put some thought into what kind of meditation you can do next, and I was thinking maybe something food related? I know it isn’t something you’d usually do, but it’s quite interesting :) Of course, it’s important that you’re also passionate about doing something like that, but I think it would be nice. Please do take that into consideration :) Sending so much gratitude and positivity! Have a great day!
