This meditation is an invitation into creating energetic space within yourself.
We have so many stories about not having enough time,
Not having enough resources,
Not having enough space.
And let's be honest,
A lot of those stories are true,
But what would it be like to create energy flow within our bodies where wherever we are in our lives in this moment,
We know that we have what we need right now within us.
I'd like for you to take a seat and get comfortable with your eyes still open.
I want you to take a deep breath in through your nose and breathe out through your mouth,
Taking in the room around you.
Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth,
Remembering that you are here,
That you are grounded,
Breathing in through your nose and when you breathe out through your mouth,
Closing your eyes,
Releasing all your air,
Bringing your shoulders down,
Letting all of that tension melt.
Noticing the difference between your deep breathing and your natural rhythm of breath.
No judgments,
Just noticing.
I'd like for you to imagine your root chakra.
The root chakra is at the base of the spine.
This can be your actual,
The base of the spine,
Your lower back.
For some people that like to think of their root chakra as the actual butt itself,
The buttocks,
Choose the one that feels right for you.
It's important that you feel comfortable.
So imagining your root chakra,
And the root chakra is the color red,
The root chakra is where energetically,
We create safety,
Security,
It is at the base of the spine,
So it is the foundation of the chakras that are above it.
This is where we hone in on our groundedness.
When we are grounded,
We can create space.
Thinking about your root chakra.
Thinking about safety.
Safety is also boundaries.
What do you need right now,
The first thing that comes to your mind,
To feel safe?
Coming back to your breath,
Breathing in through your nose,
And breathing out through your mouth,
And breathing out through your nose.
Coming back to your breath,
Breathing in through your nose,
And breathing out through your mouth,
Making sure you're really blowing that air out,
Releasing.
Breathing in through your nose,
Exhaling out through your mouth.
Again,
Breathing in through your nose,
And then breathing out through your mouth.
Breathing into that center of safety,
Coming back to your normal breath.
What do you need to create in your life,
To say,
To do,
To feel,
To feel safe,
To feel safe,
To do,
To create that feeling of safety?
Sometimes,
It doesn't even need to be done with someone else.
It's just something that we need to commit to.
I want you to imagine your life with this boundary set,
With this safety in place.
What do you imagine that would be possible?
What do you imagine that you could have access to?
What do you imagine that you would be free from?
Coming back to your deep breaths,
Breathing in through your nose,
Exhaling any resistance out through your mouth,
Breathing in through your nose,
Exhaling any limitations out through your mouth.
Again,
Breathing in through your nose,
And releasing out through your mouth.
Exhaling any tension out through your mouth.
You may not know it,
But in creating space to talk about these things with yourself in this meditation,
In creating space to look at the stories that you may have,
In creating space to imagine your life with the things that you say help you feel safe and that you You have already created flow within your energetic being,
Within yourself.
We sometimes think that there are so many steps,
That there are so many things that we have to do.
And so often,
It's coming back to ourselves,
Connecting to ourselves,
Connecting to our breath.
That brings us that connection,
That feeling of being.
I want you to tune in in this moment and sense that feeling of groundedness.
You are sitting here on the ground or laying here on the ground.
You may have thoughts coming to your mind.
You may have to-do lists coming to your mind.
And those things do not erase the space that you've created,
The flow that you've created,
Or your groundedness.
Coming back to your breath,
Breathing in through your nose.
I am grounded.
Breathing out through your mouth.
Breathing out through your mouth.
Scarcity.
Breathing in through your nose.
I am free.
Breathing out through your mouth.
Limitation.
Breathing in through your nose.
I am spacious.
Breathing out through your mouth.
Scarcity.
I just want you to take another cleansing breath,
Again,
In through your nose.
And then really push that air out through your mouth,
Releasing.
Becoming aware of the space around you.
Moving your fingers and toes,
And then gently opening your eyes when you're ready.
