So,

Let's start our session with a short ceremony,

Just to make sure we are all aligned.

Let's close our eyes and take a deep breath in,

Inhaling and go.

Just observe your body and breath for a minute,

Making sure there is no tension hiding in your body or in your breaths.

Become aware of your own thoughts as they come and go.

See if you cannot follow them,

But remain observing.

As you observe,

You realize thoughts have no power unless you identify and believe them.

Become aware of every phenomena that happens around you and within you.

And as the realm of phenomena continues to begin and end,

Allow your attention to break that observation and turn back towards itself,

To the ultimate observer,

That space within that exists before and beyond any phenomena,

Where there is no movement,

There is only silence.

And for a moment,

Become that silence.

Another deep breath in,

And another deep breath out.

Gently allow your attention to come back to your body,

To this room.

Become aware of the presence of your body in this room,

A part of our virtual circle.

Let us unite our individual intentions into one unified intention.

The intention to grow,

To develop,

To evolve.

Another deep breath in,

And another deep breath out.

And,

If you are comfortable,

You may open your eyes.

Hello everyone.

Thank you for joining us on this occasion that we give ourselves to stop the rush for an hour and reflect on who we are and what is most important to us.

Today,

We invited ourselves to walk under the light of this question.

What is the truth?

How to find it?

And I remember back when I was a student in the university,

I learned engineering.

It was so boring.

I snacked once in a while to the philosophy department,

Faculty,

To listen to some philosophy courses.

And I remember one of those times,

They had a discussion about the truth,

And they referred to the truth as if it was a noun,

Like something finite and concrete.

And I was asking the lecturer,

How come you refer to the truth as something that is so finite?

So,

He got upset and he immediately recognized that I'm not a part of his class and he threw me out.

But that's an interesting question.

What is the truth?

Is there an absolute truth that we all strive to recognize and to realize?

And if so,

What is it?

What do you think?

Do you have any suggestions?

I'm sure you have an idea about it.

What is the truth for you?

Try listening and saying,

I think it's something that you find within yourself.

Okay,

But what?

What do you find within yourself?

Not the same for everyone.

Okay,

So truth is relative.

Okay,

That's a start.

But what is it that you find within yourself?

And how do you know it's true?

How do you know that you're not lying to yourself?

Pablo is saying,

My first thoughts are,

The truth is reality.

My second thought is,

The truth is love in action.

Then the question becomes,

What is love?

Going down the rabbit hole.

More suggestions?

So yeah,

You can sense it in your body.

It's like you feel it.

Okay,

How do you sense it?

What do you recognize when it is true versus false?

What is true for you?

Meal?

If you want me to tell you the truth about truth,

You need to participate.

You need to suck it out of me.

Otherwise,

It's not going to happen today.

Chaya is saying,

But only when you are attuned to your body and listening can you feel it.

It's hard to describe.

Perhaps you're making some decision and one option will feel your body sighing with relief like your heart lifts.

That,

Liz is saying,

That which resonates.

Indescribable.

I would argue,

Everything resonates.

Everything in creation resonates.

How can you differ between a true resonation and a false resonation?

Barbara is saying,

Where there is no gap between what is and what I think it should be.

I've heard that sentence before.

Carly is saying,

Resonates in harmony as opposed to disharmony.

Okay.

Then we have to try to identify harmony and disharmony.

How can we differ between the two?

Again,

I would argue disharmony and harmony is something that depends on the beholder.

What I find harmonious,

You might find disharmonious.

Which leads us to conclude that there is no absolute truth that is resonating as harmonious to every observer.

Chagai is saying,

But Barbara,

Sometimes our resistance isn't actually a sign of truth.

We need to keep peeling the onion.

Liz is saying,

Can we even begin to put this into words?

Well,

This is what we are gathered here for today.

Ambitious,

Don't you think?

Jen is saying,

Truth is truly infinite,

I feel.

So what is infinite?

What does it mean?

It means that false has boundaries while truth is boundless,

Borderless,

Timeless.

What does it mean?

Chagai is saying,

You are asking us to put ideas like truth,

Which is infinite,

Into words which are finite.

Jen is saying,

There is no truth.

Okay.

Wow.

So there is no truth.

Is that the truth?

Is that the truth,

That there is no truth?

In?

Hagrad.

That's a con.

.

.

Drum.

.

.

Drum.

Yes,

It is.

It's not just a philosophical game that we are playing here.

This is crucial,

Don't you agree?

You see,

We walk on this planet with a whole sack of ideas about truth and false.

What is right and wrong.

And we allow ourselves to live accordingly.

We preach to enlighten other people to see that our truth is true.

And the way we perceive life and feel it with meaning is true.

All of us do that,

In a way.

Some of us dedicate their lives to do that.

They become preachers.

Either in a religious context or secular context,

Doesn't matter.

You have a sack of ideas about what is true.

Charlie is saying,

It's infinite in the way God,

Universe,

Whatever you want to call it,

Is infinite.

Jen is saying,

Truly crucial.

Yeah,

I agree.

It is crucial.

And we need to stop and reflect on that.

What does it mean?

Liz is saying,

There is no correct answer.

So all the answers about truth are false.

So maybe truth is the opposite of an answer?

Maybe truth is the question,

Not the answer.

This becomes interesting.

Carly is saying,

It's none of the answers and yet all of the answers.

Liz is saying,

Yes,

Carly.

Truth just is.

Charlie is saying,

We need to ask ourselves.

If the ideas we are sold are actually our truth.

Very good question.

Normally,

What we believe to be true is what we were fed to believe.

By culture,

By society,

By our parents.

Educators.

If you were born in China,

You would probably believe a whole different set of ideas about truth and false.

Jen is saying,

Truth as a question.

Yes,

I like that.

Beautiful.

Have you known a teacher called Krishnamurti?

If you haven't,

I strongly recommend you be acquainted with Krishnamurti.

Somebody write down Krishnamurti in the text and look for his YouTubes.

He died many years ago,

But he was a fantastic teacher.

His whole orientation was,

Don't settle on any answer.

The truth doesn't lie in the answer.

There is no answer that can hold the truth.

You should go back to the question again and again and again.

That's how you grow.

And you don't settle on any answer.

That's how your consciousness grows.

By staying curious.

The longing for the truth is much more important than finding the truth.

Yeah,

Krishnamurti.

Thank you for all your suggestions about the definition of truth.

I'm going to share with you my suggestion now.

You may adopt that or drop it and adopt something else.

But my recommendation is don't adopt any suggestion too firmly.

You can play with the suggestion for a while and then drop it and go back to the question.

What is truth?

But let's see if this makes sense to you.

What is truth?

It's the combination of everything you choose to believe to be truth.

Truth is the story that you tell yourself and you choose to believe in.

That becomes truth for you.

But my computer is giving me a hard time.

Do you see what I'm saying?

Think about it.

The story that you choose to believe in is true for you.

It's the truth for you.

You can say there is no truth.

Then this is your truth.

You can say truth is God or truth is infinite or finite.

You can say truth is relative or absolute.

That is your truth.

Your definition of what is true becomes true for you.

What is right and what is wrong,

What is just and unjust,

What is bad and what is good.

The combination of all that becomes truth for you.

If you follow that line of thought,

You realize there is no absolute truth.

There is only your personal perspective of it.

That is,

Of course,

Unless you expand so much where your small mind melts into the big mind and there is no personal perspective anymore.

Then truth adopts a new meaning when there is no personal perspective.

Truth reveals itself as the present moment.

If you want to come closer to the truth,

The way to do it,

The direction you should choose is returning back to the present moment.

Whatever you are able to experience in the present moment,

As the present moment,

Is the closest definition to absolute truth that cannot be disputed.

And now it's just a matter of expanding your consciousness to recognize,

To realize all the levels of existence of the present moment as they are slowly revealed to you.

As you become more and more attentive,

Attuned,

That's an English word,

Attuned.

Usually we are completely oblivious to the present moment.

We are so preoccupied with stories,

With dogmas,

With prepositioning,

Preconceptions,

With expectations,

With judgments,

With anxiety and fear,

With rejections,

That we are not really available to experience the present moment,

To recognize its glory.

Very seldom.

Why?

Because we have our own personal perspective.

And we compare whatever has happened to what we believe is the truth,

To the story we tell ourselves about what should be,

What is good,

What is bad,

What is right,

What is wrong,

What is beneficial,

What is destructive.

We come with all those opinions.

How does this promote my agenda?

How does this disturb my agenda?

So we are not available to experience the present moment.

So we cannot live a truthful life like that.

If truth is important to you,

Especially as you walk on the spiritual path,

It should be.

You don't want to live a life of deceit,

Of illusion.

You don't want to keep lying to yourself about yourself.

You want to be honest,

Truthful.

If you want to live a life that is an expression of truth,

Then you can do it only now,

In the present moment.

Do you feel what I'm saying?

Being in the present moment is not just about being aware to the object of observation and the realm of phenomena and whatever is happening out there,

Outside of you.

But also being aware of the consciousness that you are,

That allows that to be experienced.

And to realize that the object of observation is just a reflection of your own inner truth.

Char is saying,

If I may offer,

There are many truths,

As is the I-We perception of truth.

As a writer may write with the best intentions,

The reader will imbue their perception of truth.

Best intentions lead to war.

Heavy,

Heavy heart.

Discussion is so important.

Curiously and compassion.

Curiosity and compassion.

Blessing to all.

Charmere is saying,

Truth also is unrushed.

Peace inside and out.

Truth is unrushed.

I love it.

The whole energy of rush is based on the belief that whatever is happening right now is not satisfying.

The next moment should come.

This moment is futile.

The next moment is more important.

That promise of something better to materialize later,

When this is gone.

When we are done with this.

Of course,

You cannot experience the present moment and realize it to be true.

When you are waiting for the next moment to come.

In that sense,

Present moment is infinite.

Present moment and infinity are one and the same.

Time is just an illusion of historical and futuristic ideas.

You need to wake up and realize the difference between fiction and reality.

Fiction is everything that doesn't exist in the present moment.

All of your life's drama is fictional.

There is never a drama in the present moment.

The present moment is where the innocence comes.

The present moment is innocent.

It has no agenda,

No charge.

It has no charge.

It's not positive or negative.

Do you see that?

The present moment has no charge.

Its only duty is to happen.

And that's exactly what it does.

Throughout the ages.

Since time began.

Present moment is happening regardless of your opinions.

Bruntly.

How do you say?

I don't know.

The present moment refuses to be considerate to your opinions and ideas.

Expectations.

Conditions.

It has no charge.

It has no agenda.

It will never try to please you.

Or to contradict you.

It's just happening.

Now the only question is.

Are you available to experience it?

Or are you blinded by your ideas and concepts?

About what should have happened.

Yeah.

Sharmel is saying true.

Thank you.

Present moment is infinite.

Yes.

Baba is saying there is tension in the questions.

I don't know the answers.

You see it's not about getting the point.

It's not about finding the answer.

Baba.

Don't compromise on any answer.

It's not about words or concepts or ideas.

Getting the point.

There is no point.

Other than the origin.

The origin point.

So if there is a journey to make.

It's not about getting the point.

But coming back to the origin point.

So if you want to live a truthful life.

Remind yourself.

The only way.

The only place you can do it.

The only time you can do it.

Is here and now.

If you need a tool.

You can use your breath.

Exactly like Liz is saying.

The breath can only happen now.

It's like a carriage that you can always hop on.

It will take you home.

I want to add another thing.

Especially with regards to what is currently happening in the Middle East.

Sometimes the present moment is not comfortable.

It's not pleasant.

It's not as we expected.

Sometimes it's quite terrible.

Sometimes it's horrific.

So much so that we convince ourselves that it's too much.

It's beyond our capacity to experience it.

Then trauma is registered.

But it's good to know.

And it's good to remind ourselves.

The present moment is never too big for us to experience.

Funny that we never have this doubt when the present moment is overwhelmingly beautiful and pleasant.

We never doubt that.

But we do doubt our capacity to experience horrible situations.

I'm telling you.

There is never a case where the present moment suggests reality that is beyond your means.

That you are truly unable to experience.

I can tell you more.

If it happens,

It's because you have the capacity to experience.

Otherwise,

It would never happen.

That's the law of nature.

Know that.

You are wide enough to experience everything that is happening.

Just as the theater hall is wide enough to allow every type of show to be played on the stage.

Whether it's a comedy or a tragedy.

So is your consciousness.

Wide enough to allow every type of reality to manifest.

And if it's manifesting right now,

It's because you can experience it.

Fully.

With a full heart and a willing soul.

What do you think about this suggestion?

How would your life be if you adopted it to be true to you?

Reflect on that.

How would your life be if you believed,

Truly believed,

That reality cannot harm you in any way.

Whatever is happening,

Pleasant or unpleasant,

Is never beyond the capacity for you to experience.

With an open heart,

A full heart,

And a willing soul.

How would your life look like?

Then,

You can choose to adopt this story now.

And it will become true for you.

Do you see what I'm saying?

You see how important it is that you are aware of the story that you choose to believe in.

About yourself,

About life.

Your values.

Your ideas about good and bad and beneficial.

Reflect on it.

It shapes the way you allow yourself to live.

It builds truth.

Truth for you.

No.

Meditate on that.

What is that story that you believe in?

Is it relevant?

Does it support your journey towards an awakened consciousness?

Or does it stand in the way between you and awakened consciousness?

Is it time to reinvent that story?

The world?

Where are we in?

So I would like to thank you very much.

With this question,

I would like to sum up this session tonight.

I invite you,

If you haven't done so,

To send your love and compassion to the people in need now.

Many,

Many souls are aching.

So you send that compassion and love.

Expand the fabric of reality for them to be able to exist in that thing.

And I look forward to meeting you again next week.

Thank you for your time,

Your questions,

Your participation,

Your donations.

Please put something in the pot.

And good night.

Love you very much.
