Welcome to this meditation on summoning mental wellness.
Close your eyes down if you haven't already and take some time to turn your attention inward.
Connect your awareness to right here,
Right now.
Notice if you need to shift or move,
Making sure you're really comfy.
Start to notice how you feel today.
Right here,
Right now.
No judgment.
Just notice.
Where are you at today?
Relax all the muscles from around the eyes.
Bring some gentleness into your face.
Focus your attention on breathing in and out through your nose.
Recite to yourself silently opening on the inhale and exhaling into this.
Opening into this.
Opening into this.
Release your tongue from the roof of your mouth and soften the jaw.
Feel your chest rise and fall with each breath.
Without forcing,
Gently nudge your way into a longer inhale and a much longer exhale.
Drop your shoulders.
Turn your attention into your heart as you feel your body melt into this moment,
Allowing your entire being to soften.
As your physiology is shifting and the mind relaxes,
You start to see your life from a higher perspective.
You notice the roles you play in your life,
The people you surround yourself with,
The family in your life,
And those that have passed on.
Become aware of how you spend most of your time.
What is it that dominates your time?
And no judgment here.
Just simply expand your awareness to a macro level view of your life and the people you share it with and the things you do in life that dominate your time.
Come back to your breath,
Breathing in,
Opening,
Exhaling into this.
Opening into this.
Drop your shoulders.
Now start to consider what emotion dominates your world.
What is your prevailing emotion as you move through life?
The one that's there the majority of the time?
Observe this.
What state of being do you journey into the world with?
How do you feel on the inside?
No judgment,
Just noticing.
Name these emotions that are inside of you.
Name the emotions presenting themselves in your life.
Try not to attach your mental chatter to the emotions,
Just noticing and naming.
Coming back to your breath,
Coming back to the rise and fall of your chest.
Just breathe.
So you've named an emotion or two.
Is this who you are?
No.
Is this how you want to live your life?
We are the creators of our world,
The creators of our life.
You can create whatever you desire in this world.
What is it that you would create if you were guaranteed success?
What emotions would you have then?
How would it feel if you created exactly what your heart desires?
Observe your thoughts without getting too attached.
Attach to them.
Just noticing the emotions you have within you,
The ones you want to create.
No emotion is either good or bad.
They're just simply there.
Now are there any emotions you're ready to let go of?
Are there some that are no longer serving a purpose for you?
And perhaps you could just honor them and let them go.
If so,
I invite you to take a breath in,
Exhaling and letting it go.
And on every exhale,
Give Mother Earth those emotions that no longer serve you.
Just let go,
All it takes is an intention.
Let go of what's no longer serving you.
Allow this energy to flow out right now.
Stay here in either contemplation or breathing through letting go.
And I'll bring you back in a few minutes.
Exhale for super.
You you you you Slowly bring your attention back to the sound of my voice bringing your attention back to your breath again noticing the rise and fall of your chest take a moment now to recognize any learnings or insights that came from this meditation what are you more aware of now?
And come back take three long slow deep breaths send your attention now to your fingers bringing some movement into your hands your wrists coming up to your shoulders and maybe moving into some shoulder rolls from one side to the next keeping that jaw slightly open coming back to center and slowly opening the eyes now is a great time to write down your insights from today's meditation thank you for joining me today namaste
