My name is Simone and in this recording today I'm going to be taking you through a morning meditation.
I invite you to find a nice comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Making sure you're as comfortable as you possibly can be.
Allow your body to be in a restful state.
Wiggle until you find that sweet spot where your body is balanced.
Gradually begin to close down the eyes,
Closing down the mouth.
Allowing your breath to roll in and out of your nose.
Releasing any part of your body that is tight,
Strained.
Letting anything that is holding tension release now.
Any odd thoughts from your night's sleep.
Anything that you may be thinking of getting done in your day.
Just let those thoughts be put to one side for a moment and focus on your breath.
The in and out,
The up and the down,
The flow.
As you begin to see it into this relaxed,
Balanced,
Open space.
Being with a clear vision for our day.
Let us reflect on three things we are grateful for.
Three things that cultivate gratitude in our lives.
Let those three things really sit within you.
Allow the feeling of how grateful you are for each of these things.
Be consumed by your whole being.
Let it create a feeling of gratitude.
And let that gratitude fill you up from your toes to your fingers to the crown of your head.
Let it overflow out of your being and into the world,
Into your day.
Let the stillness and the silence now sink in as we just allow our breath to be our guide for the next few moments.
As we breathe,
Harness that grateful energy and allow this place to be still,
Considered and silent to begin our day.
Allowing yourself to drift back into the moment,
Into the breath.
Let your body really harness the serenity of the space you have cultivated for yourself in the essence of repeating this feeling,
This sense of gratefulness.
As we allow this space that we have cultivated for ourselves today to weave its way through each moment we experience and know that if we do find things challenging that we can always return to those three things we are grateful for.
Let it consume us and let it be held by our breath as we fill ourselves up in each and every moment.
Allow yourself to gently wiggle fingers and toes bringing energy and serenity back into the space.
Take a deep inhale through the nose and a sigh out of the mouth.
Two more releases just like that.
Breathe in through the nose and a sigh out of the mouth.
And only when you are ready,
Allow your eyes to flutter open.
Allow your body to slowly release and stretch.
And allow yourself to feel this moment of clarity as you begin your day.
Hands to heart center,
Bowing to yourself,
Grateful to yourself for giving this gift of stillness and softness and gratitude today.
Namaste.
Namaste.
