In this practice, you will harness the power of your breath, love, awareness, and voice to nurture the sacred connection between your voice and your womb. The voice and the womb are deeply connected. They are essential sources of power, creation, and expression that for centuries have been silenced and stifled. This is a gentle practice to slowly begin re-sparking this connection and therefore, reclaiming your feminine creative power.

Hello,

And welcome to this week's meditation.

This week's meditation will be focused on the voice to womb connection.

And we'll be nurturing that connection today with our breath,

And with our love,

And with our deep presence and awareness.

As you feel ready,

When you feel ready,

I invite you to make your way to whatever comfortable position you would like to meditate and breathe in today.

Whether that's seated,

Or perhaps you might like to do this lying down on your back.

Maybe giving yourself an extra layer of support in your practice today.

Once you've made your way into this comfortable position,

Slowly starting to bring your awareness to the parts of the body that are making contact with the surface underneath you.

Noticing the lower body,

Noticing the mid-body,

Or maybe the length of the spine.

Maybe noticing the upper body,

Or perhaps the back of the head,

All being supported here.

Right away in these first few moments,

Seeing if you can allow yourself to maybe soften into these points of contact,

Even if it's just a little bit here as we start.

And then slowly as you feel ready,

Starting to bring your awareness to the breath.

Letting the breath flow in,

And flow out.

And perhaps you might notice by just by bringing your awareness to the breath that it already has started to slow down.

And whether it has or it hasn't,

That's okay,

That's perfect.

Whatever you're landing here today in your practice is welcome.

Perhaps you might like to invite the slowing down of your breath,

Maybe inviting the slowing down of the mind by extending the inhales,

And extending the exhales.

Maybe we can take a couple of cleansing breaths here together.

As you feel ready,

Taking a deep breath in through the nose,

A gentle sigh maybe out through the mouth,

And another breath in through the nose,

A gentle sigh out through the mouth,

And another breath in through the nose,

And out through the mouth,

Noticing any changes that might happen inside as you begin to slow down and become more present.

Anything in our practice today is optional,

Especially as we enter these sometimes tender spaces of the voice and the womb.

These areas that may have been silenced in the past,

That might have been hurt in the past,

And so wherever you might find yourself on that journey is welcome here.

And everything you've gone through,

Everything you've experienced is also welcome here.

As you feel ready,

Perhaps you might like to slowly bring a hand to your womb space.

I'm just taking it really slow here,

Being really gentle,

And just noticing what it feels like to place the hand here.

Maybe applying a gentle and loving pressure,

Taking some mindful breaths into your hand on the belly.

Maybe noticing the belly rise and expand as you inhale.

Maybe noticing the belly collapse as you exhale.

Noticing what it's like to place your hand here.

Noticing if this area feels maybe numb.

Maybe noticing if there's any discomfort,

Any emptiness here.

Keeping your hand here if it feels okay.

Feeling free to make any movements or adjustments as needed.

And as you feel ready,

If you feel ready,

Slowly starting to maybe bring your other hand to your throat.

Being gentle here,

And just noticing what it's like to place your hand here.

Noticing if there's any constriction.

Maybe noticing the pumping of blood through your arteries.

Taking a breath here into your hand on your throat.

Breathing in whatever it is that you're noticing.

And then as you feel ready,

If you feel ready,

We'll slowly begin to invite in an active breathing technique.

Breathing in through the mouth and out through the mouth.

As you breathe in,

Sending the belly,

Sending the breath into the belly.

And as you breathe in again,

Breathing into the heart and into the throat space.

So gently inhaling,

Inhaling again,

And then gently exhaling in and out through the mouth.

Belly,

Throat,

Exhale.

Belly,

Throat,

Exhale.

Belly,

Throat,

Exhale.

Belly,

Throat,

Exhale.

Continuing with this rhythm.

And as you begin to settle into your unique rhythm and expression of the breath today,

Setting an intention here to nurture this connection between your womb and your throat.

These places of power,

Of potential.

And as you continue to breathe,

Belly,

Throat,

Exhale.

Belly,

Throat,

Exhale.

Maybe allowing the breath to nurture your intentions here.

Allowing the breath to be the sun,

The water,

The nutrients in the soil.

Feeding and nourishing your intentions around nurturing this connection between your womb and your throat.

With each breath in and each breath out.

Belly,

Throat,

Exhale.

Belly,

Throat,

Exhale.

Belly,

Throat,

Exhale.

Belly,

Throat,

Exhale.

Continuing to stay with the breathing here for about another minute.

And as you continue to breathe,

Noticing anything that might be arising for you.

Noticing any sensations,

Maybe any feelings or thoughts.

And as you feel ready,

You can slowly release the act of breathing.

Returning to breathing in and out of the nose.

Allowing a moment here for stillness and settling.

And in this stillness and settling,

As you continue to maybe keep your hand on your belly and your hand on your throat.

Noticing what you might like to express here.

If there's anything that's come through in your mind,

The invitation is to say it out loud.

And if it feels scary to say it out loud,

Perhaps just starting with a whisper.

Slowly starting to bring your awareness back to the parts of the body that are making contact with the surface underneath you.

Maybe starting to invite movement back into the body,

Wiggling the toes,

Fingertips.

Maybe taking a stretch if that feels good.

Maybe opening the eyes if they were closed and slowly coming back into your space,

Back into your room.

Taking note of what you've noticed here today.

Taking note of any messages that came through for you today.

It's truly courageous work to nurture this connection between your voice and your womb.

And I acknowledge you for doing that today.

I look forward to connecting with you next time.

Take care.
