Hello,
I trust you're doing well.
This is William Cooper.
Let me ask you a question.
What's the best way to deal with anxiety or anger or fear or discontent?
There are many ways,
Psychotherapy,
Yoga,
Exercise,
Mantras,
Meditation.
And we talk about many of them in my other podcasts.
But something that's very powerful,
Possibly more powerful than the rest,
Is what my friend Bhagavan said,
Seeing clearly.
He said,
To see is to be free.
Let me tell you a story.
A man crouched in fear all night long,
Afraid of the deadly Cobra in the corner of his room.
In the morning light,
He saw that it was a rope.
In that clear seeing,
He could never,
Ever,
Ever be afraid of that rope again.
It wasn't a Cobra.
His anxiety vanished.
No psychotherapy,
No psychotropic drugs,
No talk therapy,
No acupuncture,
No yoga,
No meditation,
On and on and on,
No mantras.
To see is to be free.
When you see so clearly,
All that is unclear reveals itself and it doesn't make sense anymore.
All that's left to do is let it flow through,
Let it go.
That's basically the spiritual path.
And the goal of most spiritual practices is to release.
And often in the core of those spiritual practices is somehow to see clearly or don't be deluded so that you can see clearly.
To see is to be free on the deepest levels of awakening.
After you've done so many practices and you've let go and you've let go and you've let go.
At the very core,
You see that it's all oneness.
And if it doesn't seem like oneness,
There's been an attitude implanted in it.
Anger is power or oneness with an attitude.
Fear is oneness with an attitude.
Hurt is oneness with an attitude.
You see this clearly and you let go.
You let it go.
You let any tension go,
Any anxiety go,
Any attitude go,
Until all that's left is your radiant,
Beautiful,
Free flowing being.
To see is to be free.
If you want more depth and processes for letting go in your path of awakening,
You can listen to any of my previous podcasts.
They're all freely available on this platform.
I often suggest start with number one and work your way forward.
Okay.
I trust that you'll have a good week.
Look forward to talking to you again.
Bye.
