Welcome to day four of your spiritual or meditation advent calendar with me Max.

I'm so grateful that you're here.

So today is the full moon.

I did mention it on day two that we were kind of building up to this full moon,

The last full moon of 2025.

So we're going to start by discussing this from the point of view of astronomy and then astrology and then we'll take some time to journal or just think about gratitudes for today for the full moon and then we'll finish with a little visualization meditation.

So let's talk science,

Let's talk astronomy.

From this point of view,

The phases of the moon.

So the first thing to kind of note is that half the moon surface is always illuminated by the Sun,

Always without exception.

However,

As the moon orbits the Earth,

Us,

The sunlit portion that can be observed varies throughout the course of the month as the moon moves around us.

So these views or phases are divided into eight.

So there are four major and four intermediate.

If you see like a lunar calendar,

Mostly it's just the main major phases that are explained or shown.

The moon is sitting on the opposite side of the Earth from the Sun,

Of the Earth from the Sun in a position called opposition,

Meaning it's on the other side of the sky.

A total eclipse of the moon can only occur during this phase and a total solar eclipse can only occur on a new moon.

So if you ever hear in the media about eclipses,

Just know that they can only occur on the full moon or solar eclipse can only occur on a new moon and that is because of the science behind it.

So let's talk astrology,

Let's talk energy in the air.

So I did mention on day two that we were a couple of days away from the full moon and that was a time for refinement,

Making sure that we're clear on any intentions,

Any intentions that we might have set back at the new moon or any time,

Honing in on our goals and what we want from this moon phase and practicing mindfulness.

And if you were joining me for a day one,

Two and three,

You've done just that,

You've practiced mindfulness which leads us to tonight.

The full moon is a time and place to harvest any intentions as I said if you set them the new moon or even if you didn't,

If you didn't have a specific lunar cycle intention,

There might be something on your mind,

In your heart that you've been thinking about,

Wishing for,

Hoping for.

We need to release something in order to welcome that in.

The full moon was traditionally a time for release.

If you are into your crystals it's always a great time to charge your crystals and tap into that lunar,

That feminine lunar energy.

So grab your journal now,

I'm going to provide you with some journal prompts.

You can write a word or a few words for each or just in your own mind if you don't choose to journal.

What is something from each of your senses that you are grateful for today?

So that is the sense of sight,

The sense of smell,

The sense of taste,

The sense of touch,

The sense of sound.

Challenge yourself to come up with five things,

One from each sense.

Sight,

Smell,

Taste,

Touch and sound.

And don't forget you can always hit the pause button if you need more time.

Our second journal prompt,

Something you're looking forward to within the next two weeks when this lunar cycle ends on December 19th.

Find something to look forward to within the next two weeks or plan something.

Your third question,

Name something that other people have complimented you on recently.

What are you most grateful for about your job or occupation?

What do you love most about this season of winter that we're in?

If you're in the northern hemisphere of course.

And finally,

To tune in to that strongest feeling of gratitude,

Think of one beautiful moment in your life,

Your life so far that you will cherish forever.

That one thing that's guaranteed to raise your vibe.

You can close out this journaling or contemplation by setting an intention.

Could be the same ones we mentioned earlier or a new one.

It's your intention for the rest of this lunar cycle which ends on December 19th.

Write down or think about the one thing you're calling in and manifesting.

If you can,

Say it aloud three times.

Have you any resistance to this intention?

We often do niggly voices telling us it's not going to happen.

What's blocking you?

What's holding you back?

Circumstances,

Finances,

Other people or is this your own mindset?

You do know what you're doing.

You do deserve it.

It's not too big to wish for.

You don't need to keep yourself small,

Hide your lice and your gifts.

You don't need to keep yourself small and humble.

I promise you,

You deserve all good things.

Maybe you'd like to write down a belief that's holding you back,

That you wish to release even if you don't quite believe that you can release it yet.

Start the process at least.

You are worthy.

Put down your journal and pen now if you were journaling.

Close your eyes if you can.

Take a few slow,

Long,

Deep breaths in and out.

Become aware you're comfortable with the space around you.

Become aware of your entire physical body.

Feel your body weight on the floor,

The chair,

Whatever you're sitting on,

Whatever's supporting you.

Feel the position of your hands as they rest in your lap or by your sides.

Be in the moment.

Continue to inhale and exhale slowly and deeply while relaxing your face and your jaw as you do so.

Let your relax.

Try to let go of all the worries and tasks that have been holding you down,

Holding you back.

Focus on being in a present state of mind.

Place your trust in yourself and the glowing,

Powerful energy emanated by the full moon.

Moving down from the face and jaw,

As you become aware of each body part,

Look for specific areas of tension or even pain that you might be experiencing.

Observe them.

Continue to breathe.

Give yourself permission to release energetic blocks.

Imagine a powerful white light just above your head,

Just above the crown of your head,

Shining down onto your head,

Onto your body and allow your entire being to become soaked in this pure,

Serene energy,

This loving light.

Start to think about what it is you want to let go of,

Anything you wrote down or anything else that has now arisen in your field of awareness.

Allow those thoughts to stay in your mind for a moment or if it helps to imagine them in the form of a color or an object floating before you,

Assign them a color or an object.

Now repeat in your mind or aloud if you can and you wish.

I release you under the light of this sacred and magical full moon.

I no longer need what does not serve or empower me.

Your words are a spell.

So while you say these words,

The habits,

The people,

The behaviors,

The thought patterns are disappearing,

Fading away in the full and powerful gleam of the moon.

I release you under the light of this sacred and magical full moon.

I no longer need what does not serve or empower me.

I release unworthiness.

I release doubt.

I release fear and anger.

I release resentment.

I release judgment.

I release envy and comparison.

I release relationships that do not serve me.

I release toxic people and situations.

Feel light and relaxed as you let go.

I'm a powerful manifester of my desires.

I manifest my intention for this lunar cycle without resistance.

For your next three breaths,

Sigh it out the mouth,

In through the nose.

Sigh it out,

Release.

Two more times yourself.

Gently blink open the eyes.

I just want you to know that I'm proud of how far you've come.

Not just to the end of day four but in your life so far.

I'm proud of us.

And if you enjoyed the gratitude practice,

If it raised your vibration,

If it put a smile on your face,

I want to let you know they have an evening gratitude practice using a similar prompt and you can find that audio.

I'll add it into this playlist as well to make it a little bit easier but otherwise you'll find it under my name.

So maybe you could add in an evening,

Five-minute evening gratitude practice too for the rest of this Advent.

And we are closing today with gratitude.

I'm so grateful that you're here.

The effort,

The years of training and teaching and preparing all of these audios for you.

The fact that somebody's listening right now means the whole world to me.

So I'm so grateful to you and I will talk to you tomorrow.

Namaste.
