Find a comfortable place where you will not be disturbed by anyone or anything for the duration of the session.
You can make yourself comfortable,
Adjust your position,
Take a big deep breath in,
In through the nose or in through the mouth,
Whatever is more comfortable for you and exhale and allow your body to continue this way.
Breathing,
Taking deep breaths in through your nose or through your mouth and letting the breath all the way out.
And just continue this for about three more breaths now.
Good.
Now I want you to imagine yourself in a lovely warm Caribbean Villa,
Ready to go down from your room and onto the beach.
There are 12 steps leading down.
These steps are made of white polished marble and there's a handrail running alongside to make you feel safe and secure.
Alongside the steps is a partitioned off slope with exotic plants of various shapes,
Sizes and colors.
It's a warm day and you can feel the heat on your body as you prepare to go down.
As you step down to the first step,
You notice how refreshingly cool the marble staircase is beneath your bare feet.
And you go down and down,
Down to the second down to the second and third step,
Admiring the luscious plants with their bright red,
Purple and yellow flowers.
Going down deeper down to the fourth and fifth step down to the sixth feeling ever so calm and relaxed and happy.
And deeper down you go,
The more comfortably relaxed you become.
Deeper down to the seventh and eighth steps and you pause for a second or two.
Notice the smell and the taste of the fresh air and the most gentle of breezes as it wafts on your skin and in your hair.
Continue down to the ninth step,
Down to the tenth feeling more and more calm and relaxed and comfortable,
Happy and safe,
Calm and relaxed.
And you reach the second to last step,
The eleventh one.
And you can hear the waves from the sea as they gently lap onto the shore.
And you breathe in a lovely calm,
A relaxing feeling.
And you now step down to the ground,
Down to the bottom of the steps and just a very few steps away is the beach.
And you stand here feeling the warmth,
The warmth of the sun on your body and listening to the ebb and flow of the waves and admiring the wonderful view.
You take onto yourself a calm,
Relaxing feeling,
A feeling of peace,
Peace and tranquility.
So remain in this place for a few moments as you allow these tranquil feelings to permeate your body and your mind.
And when you next hear my voice,
You'll be ready to absorb and act upon the suggestions that are given to you.
All emotions have opposites and if you only experience one half,
Your emotional state can get really unbalanced and even unpredictable.
Good.
Let's take five deep breaths just to relax a little bit and get connected to our body.
So one full breath in,
Make your ribs and belly expand and exhale.
Just let it go.
Two,
Take a full breath in and hold it just for one second and let it out very slowly.
And three,
Inhale fully,
Filling your belly like a balloon.
And when you let go,
Your belly gently falls.
And four,
A full,
Strong and deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Let your body relax just a little bit more.
Five,
Take another full breath in and this time let the breath fall naturally.
Let your body breathe on its own now without any effort or control.
Now remember a time when you felt really joyful about something.
It could be something that you've achieved in the past or that you were happy about.
Feel the joy,
Feel the happiness,
See all the details vividly of you being so joyful and happy.
Let the feeling of joy expand.
Happiness.
Good.
Now observe where exactly this emotion is located.
Does it have some sort of shape or color?
Does the feeling of joy move around or is it still?
Really get familiar with all the sensations of this feeling.
No need to think about anything,
Just observe.
Good job.
You can relax your focus now and remember that you can always come back here to this joyful state just by remembering it and feeling it.
Now let's get familiar with the opposite emotion of joy,
Sadness and despair.
Don't worry about being uncomfortable with the feelings and emotions.
They're completely normal and feeling these emotions is beneficial in many ways.
It's actually our reaction and feeling the need to escape them.
That's what's causing them to linger for longer periods of time and they become extremely uncomfortable.
So start off by remembering the time when something really brought you down,
Something that maybe made you cry.
Remember that strong sad feeling.
Don't be afraid.
It's completely normal and a harmless feeling.
Now really feel exactly where this motion is located.
How does it behave in your body?
Does it have a shape or a color?
Does it have a sense of humor?
Does it have a sense of humor?
How does it behave in your body?
Does it have a shape or a color?
Is it moving around?
Get familiar with all the details of sadness.
No need to think about anything or do anything with this feeling.
Just observe it.
The feeling of despair.
Now notice when you let yourself feel these sad feelings,
The energy moves and lifts.
It begins to balance when you allow the feelings of sadness to be felt.
Good.
Now we'll bring ourselves right back to that joyful feeling and change the whole state of our body with the power of our mind.
Remember that joyful memory again.
Feel the joy start and then grow inside you,
Seeing all the details of this wonderful memory.
Feeling yourself smile happiness.
Happiness.
See yourself moving around with excitement and with joy.
Remember again where joy is located in your body.
Feel it exactly how it is.
Good.
See how easy it is to feel our emotions just by thinking about them.
You become acquainted with the feelings of sadness and the feelings of happiness.
All emotions are welcome and we must respect each one of them.

Naturally and normally,
Becoming even deeper and deeper relaxed.
