Music and astrology are governed by the same sets of numbers. There are 12 signs and 12 notes, 12 houses and 12 keys, and 7 scales (the 7 Greek modes including the major and minor scale). The moon light is a reflection of the sun light, the minor scale is built off the major scale. The moon has three phases, waning, full&black and waxing, there are three minor scales: natural, harmonic and melodic. When two planets are in harmony they are trine or sextile, when two notes are in harmony they are at an interval of a third and a sixth, and so on, the similarities continue. Every astrological aspect is connected to its musical counterpart. A piano song is then composed and performed using unique improvisational techniques. In this meditation, you will experience the wisdom of Lao Tzu, while listening to a piano piece composed based on his stars, or as close as it gets, considering his date of birth is debated.

Find a state of focus.

Place your mind inside your hands and aim to find a sensation of tingling fullness and warmth.

This allows you to find a state where you will be able to absorb Lao Tzu's quotes a lot deeper and let them mean more to you.

You can let them connect with you,

Inspire you,

Because inspiration is all you need to get up and do,

To remember who you are,

What you want and why you're here.

So now you can visualize Lao Tzu in front of you together with many philosophers from ancient China.

In the year 430 before Christ,

The great man is about to speak.

The reason why the universe is eternal is that it does not live for itself.

It gives life to others as it transforms.

The way to do is to be.

At the center of your being you have the answer.

You know who you are and you know what you want.

When you are content to be simply yourself and don't compare or compete,

Everyone will respect you.

He who controls others may be powerful,

But he who has mastered himself is mightiest still.

He who knows others is wise.

He who knows himself is enlightened.

If you want to know me,

Look inside your heart.

Ambition has one heel nailed in well,

Though she stretches her fingers to touch the heavens.

The heart that gives gathers.

The softest things in the world overcome the hardest things in the world.

Water is the softest thing,

Yet it can penetrate mountains and earth.

This shows clearly the principle of softness overcoming hardness.

When pure sincerity forms within,

It is outwardly realized in other people's hearts.

From wonder into wonder,

Existence opens.

Do your work,

Then step back.

The only path to serenity.

Water is fluid,

Soft and yielding,

But water will wear away rock which is rigid and cannot yield.

As a rule,

Whatever is fluid,

Soft and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard.

This is another paradox.

What is soft is strong.

Silence is a source of great strength.

There is no disaster greater than not being content.

There is no misfortune greater than being covetous.

If you realize that all things change,

There is nothing you will try to hold on to.

If you're not afraid of dying,

There is nothing you cannot achieve.

Great acts are made up of small deeds.

Our enemies are not demons,

But human beings like ourselves.

A man with outward courage dares to die.

A man with inner courage dares to live.

Act without expectation.

The best fighter is never angry.

Do not conquer the world with force,

For force only causes resistance.

Thorns spring up when an army passes.

Years of misery follow a great victory.

Do only what needs to be done without using violence.

To be worn out is to be renewed.

The flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long.

Just remain in the center,

Watching,

And then forget that you are there.

If you do not change direction,

You may end up in the same place.

You may end up where you're heading.

The wise man is square,

But not sharp.

Honest,

But not malign.

Straight,

But not severe.

Bright,

But not dazzling.

The master observes the world,

But trusts his inner vision.

He allows things to come and go.

He prefers what is within to what is without.

If the people must be ever fearful of death,

Then there will always be an executioner.

The hard and mighty lie beneath the ground.

Time is a created thing.

To say I don't have time is like saying I don't want to.

The truth is not always beautiful,

Nor beautiful words the truth.

New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings.

Do you have the patience to be patient?

Do you have the patience to wait until your mud settles and the water is clear?

Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes.

Don't resist them.

That only creates sorrow.

Let reality be reality.

Let things flow naturally forward.

Your own positive future begins in this moment.

All you have is right now.

Every goal is possible from here.

A good traveler leaves no tracks.

To realize that you do not understand is a virtue.

To realize that you do not understand is a defect.

Not to realize that you do not understand is a defect.

Those who flow as life flows know they need no other force.

Ordinary men hate solitude,

But the master makes use of it.

Embracing his aloneness,

Realizing he is one with the whole universe.

And now you can see all the philosophers together with Lao Tzu standing up and wave you goodbye.

And you feel your hands again.

The tingling fullness and warmth that was forgotten is now back.

You move and stretch.

Ready to come to the here and now.

Inspired,

Full of strength and determination.

To take on life.

And to become the best possible self you can be.

What you just experienced was a piano piece composed based on the astrological chart of Lao Tzu.

Now he was born 450 years before Christ.

I just used the 25th of December of the year 451 before Christ.

If it's morning,

Have a wonderful morning.

If it's afternoon,

Have a fantastic afternoon.

If it's evening,

Have a great evening.

And if it's night,

Well,

Good night.
