Hello everyone and blessings.
This guided meditation is on heart space.
So there's one requirement of this meditation.
It's to just leave your mind at the door.
So we're going to merely focus on your heart space.
So come to a comfortable seated position or maybe lying down.
Whichever is more comfortable for you.
Take your palms to your heart.
Take your thumbs to your sternum.
So you can feel the connection of the thumbs to the heart.
Start to soften the body.
So relax your forehead,
Your cheekbones,
Your cheeks.
Soften your shoulders.
Relax the spine and ground your sit bones.
Even though the palms are to the heart,
The thumbs are to the sternum,
You're feeling that connection,
That warmth.
Keep the elbows softened just a little bit but activated at the same time.
Now the mind is starting to be active with the direction.
So just keep on coming to that heart space.
So as the body starts to get relaxed,
Start to breathe and bring your awareness to that particular area where your thumbs are.
And bring all your awareness there.
All your attention,
All your focus,
Everything is right there.
So there's no mind.
There's no time for mind.
Now listen to everything that's going on around you.
Don't label it,
Just listen.
Just breathe into that heart space.
Breathing in this particular space,
It's interesting because you start to feel this sense of peace,
This sense of happiness.
Now if the mind starts to activate,
You know there's nothing really to do but to keep on bringing your awareness to the thumbs,
To the heart.
Not trying to control the mind or the breath,
Everything needs to be relaxed.
The senses are relaxed.
All the things are relaxed.
Keeping that complete focus,
Relaxed breath and no mind.
Just breathe and relax.
Relax.
Relax.
Relax.
Letting that heart space joy,
Contentment,
Blissfulness,
Peacefulness.
Breathe and relax.
See if you can release the hands to your thighs or if you're lying down,
Arms out to your sides and see if you can continue to breathe into that heart.
A lot of times with the head,
The excessive thoughts,
The intellect,
The mind,
You know a lot of times it's the suffering,
It's the bother.
So throughout the day,
You're driving,
You're just taking a moment for yourself.
See if you can get out of the mind to find that peacefulness and get into the heart a little bit more.
Find that sensation of peace.
The mind is good for a lot of things.
Decision making,
Creativity,
All kinds of things.
It's constantly telling you things that you don't need to hear or it's wasting your time on negative thoughts,
Emotions,
Etc.
Throughout the day,
Just do the simple meditation,
Keeping the palms to the heart or if you feel the sensation in your heart,
Just breathing into that space constantly throughout the day.
A couple more minutes here.
Make sure the body is relaxed again.
Listen to everything that's going on around you.
Don't label it,
Just listen.
Keep bringing your awareness constantly back to the heart.
Leave your mind at the door.
Relax,
Relax,
Relax.
Now,
Lie or sit here for a couple more minutes.
