Namaste everyone.

So let's get into a comfortable seated position.

Sit up tall,

Rest the shoulders,

Place the hands on the thighs or whatever is comfortable with the hands.

Lengthen the spine,

Not too rigid.

Just rest the muscles around the spine,

Soften the muscles around the spine.

So here we're going to just soften the body and find complete relaxation.

Swallow just to kind of clear the palate,

Rest the tongue on the roof of the mouth,

Keep the ears open,

Listen to my directions and everything that's going on around you.

But with listening,

Don't label it,

Just listen.

Feel the radiant sensation of the whole body.

And again,

We're trying to find deep relaxation.

Bring your awareness to your sit bones as you really ground into the earth.

Feel the feet,

The legs,

Knees.

Just kind of breathe into that space.

And tuck your chin just a little bit so you're not taking the head back or forward too much.

Feel the length of the spine.

Take a moment just to find a little bit of relaxation in that place because you don't want to find rigidness.

We just want softness throughout lengthening the spine.

Check in to see what the breath is doing.

Maybe it's short,

Maybe it's lengthened.

But we just want the breath to be free.

Let's let it do its thing.

Check in with the mind.

See what the mind is doing.

Is it active?

Is it dull?

Does it have a particular theme?

And can it be empty throughout this meditation?

Can it be completely empty?

Now as you're witnessing the mind,

See what's it doing?

Still have a theme,

Shapes,

Maybe even forms.

Something that we're dealing with the beginning of the week.

What's the mind doing?

To answer the question,

Yes,

It'll take a minute,

But we can empty.

Let's pretend there's a mason jar next to you and you're opening up the jar and placing all the things in there.

It's in your head.

Your worries,

Your fears,

Your next,

Your future,

Your past.

Everything goes into that jar.

Every single thing.

You can fill it up later just,

Or you can put it back later.

Right now just be completely empty.

So you can find some sense of peacefulness.

So focus for just a moment and just empty out the mind into that jar.

Now after you're completely empty,

Again,

Check in with the body and see if everything is soft,

Not rigid.

Make that space for emptiness in the body.

So you can feel that space within you and around you.

Just this kind of peacefulness in this particular space.

Or for a moment or a while.

You don't have to figure out what's next.

You don't have to hustle.

You don't have to be somewhere else.

Just simply be here and be empty.

Just breathe here.

So you want to be quiet for a moment so you're able to stay in this emptiness and breathe in this space and be in this space without becoming something or doing something or feeling like you need to attend to something.

So keep empty in the body and the mind and your whole essence of being.

So that sense of consciousness is there and nothing else.

So you can feel that sense of you,

The sense of the cell in between those thoughts or in between the breath.

That radiant sensation of you.

To breathe in that space.

Now release me.

Check into the emptiness.

See again if you need to place more things in the jar.

Maybe the mind started to wander that you need to empty out or the body start to fill up a little bit,

Be heavy instead of soft.

You have to move your position or something real quick and that's okay too.

Completely empty out.

So you feel the space of emptiness.

You feel that space of peace.

It's interesting when we feel this type of peace and there's no,

There's no separateness in anything that we feel around us or within us.

Rest in your true nature,

Yourself.

Sense of peace in the emptiness.

Relax completely,

Completely,

Utterly.

Just relax.

Every form,

Mind,

Body,

Breath.

If you're really having trouble in the mind,

I'm emptying out.

Just pretend that the thoughts are to cars just passing by.

When the cars drive by,

Don't jump into the car.

Don't give in to traffic.

Simply let them go by.

Feel the spacious,

Peacefulness just resting in your being.

Stay here in the presence,

No future,

No past.

Just relax and breathe.

Slowly start to take your palms to your heart.

Just take a moment.

Appreciate the emptiness,

The body,

Mind,

And the breath.

I just want to thank you for meditating with me.

May all beings be happy and free.

Thanks again for being with me.

Namaste.
