Welcome to the five element guided healing meditation.
The five elements are always moving in us living us.
They are always there to connect to and to guide you to what you need.
The intention of this guided meditation is to help you connect with your energy of the five elements.
As you get to know your elements more and more,
You can access them to support yourself,
Maintain balance,
And feel more connected to your core essence.
This guided meditation promotes relaxation,
Balance,
And healing for your entire body,
Mind,
And spirit.
So take a few moments to find a quiet space and get in a comfortable position for yourself,
Either laying down or sitting up.
And when you're ready,
We'll start with some breathing exercises.
Close your eyes and take in some nice,
Slow,
Full,
Deep breaths.
Try to breathe all the way down to your belly with each breath.
You don't need to force it.
Simply notice your breathing.
Feel the breath enter your body.
Feel it as it enters your nose,
Expands with each breath through your lungs and reaches its fullness at the end of each inhalation.
As you inhale,
Try to hold your breath for a brief second to let the body pause as every cell of your body receives this breath and then slowly exhale.
Feel the air release as your body lets go with each exhaled breath.
Feel your body,
Mind,
And spirit.
Feel yourself relaxing with each breath.
Notice any tensions or thoughts or feelings that may come up.
There's no judgment,
Just noticing.
As you continue this breathing,
We will connect with the five elements through the breath,
Bringing the life force energy to support and balance each element.
We start with a water element.
Place your hands on your kidneys at your low back.
Take a deep,
Slow breath and bring the pure Qi from the heavens to your kidneys to support your water element.
Continue this breathing as you visualize and feel yourself receiving the life force energy of the water element.
We are the water element.
Like winter,
Water is a seed underground,
Growing roots,
Building up its potential energy for future growth.
Water is stillness,
Quiet,
Replenishment.
Water energy is the blueprint that holds all the essences for who you are to become.
Feel the depths of your own unique essence.
Like the greatness of the ocean,
Water is your resource of energy.
It is introspection,
Intuition.
It is a source of wisdom.
Water is life and all possibilities.
Water is the will to move your energy forward to make things happen.
Water is strength,
Courage,
Trust,
And faith.
Abide in the water.
You are safe here.
This is where you were meant to be.
With each breath,
Receive the fullness of the water element.
And from this replenishment,
The energy is now ready to move forward to the wood element.
Place your hands on your liver on the front right side of your body.
Take a slow deep breath,
Bringing the pure chi from the heavens to your liver to support your wood element.
Continue these breaths as you visualize and feel yourself receiving the gift of the wood element.
Like the spring,
The wood element is your capacity to move forward and grow and change.
Feel your sense of self,
Who you are,
Your self-esteem,
Your identity.
Wood grants you the capacity to live from a place of benevolence and good judgment,
Embracing the highest good for humanity.
Feel the expansive outward energy of fully being you,
Of moving through the world as the unique person that you are.
Visualize the plan for your life,
Where you are going,
Who you are meant to be.
There is direction,
There is clarity,
There is creative energy to manifest who you are.
You live with the intention for the highest good in your life.
You are on track to fulfill your life plan's destiny.
With each breath,
Receive this fullness of the wood element.
With the gift of the wood element,
We are moved to share who we are in relationship with others and we move to the fire element.
Place your hands on your heart.
Take a slow deep breath,
Bringing the pure chi from the heavens to your heart to support your fire element.
Continue these breaths as you visualize and feel yourself receiving the gift of the fire element.
With the warmth of the summer,
Fire energy moves us to be more active.
Fire is expansion,
Relationship,
And being connected.
Feel your connection to your heart,
The supreme controller,
Your spirit,
Your consciousness.
Visualize and feel yourself living from your heart.
The heart is the seat of love.
Feel your connection to the fire energy as this source of love.
Feel how love connects you as you share the warmth of your spirit with others.
Feel yourself bringing this joy and spark of life into the world.
Feel the joy of being connected.
Celebrate life as you feel your spirit connecting outward to others and then coming back to be reconnected to yourself in your heart.
With each breath,
We receive the fullness of the fire element.
With the fullness of joy and love in the fire element,
We're able to share our bounty to nourish ourselves and others.
Summer turns into late summer,
The time of harvest,
And we move on to the earth element.
Place your hands on your spleen on the front left side of your body.
Take a slow deep breath,
Bringing the pure chi from the heavens to your spleen to support your earth element.
Continue these breaths as you visualize and feel yourself receiving the gift of the earth element.
In the late summer,
There is completion as we reap the rewards of the harvest and earth nourishes all beings.
We feel supported,
Centered,
And grounded.
Earth's energy fills you with all the nourishment you need in body,
Mind,
And spirit so you can bring anything in your life to fulfillment,
Harvest,
And completion.
You take in the full satisfaction of reaping the fruits of your labor.
Being filled with your own nourishment,
You naturally give to others.
Everyone has what they need.
There is enough for everyone.
Everyone is taken care of and feels sustained.
There is mutual understanding,
Satisfaction,
And completeness in this circle of giving and receiving life energy.
Through this,
The earth gives us balance in life.
With the fullness of the earth element,
We are ready to move on to the fall,
The metal element.
Place your hands on your lungs.
Take a slow deep breath,
Bringing the pure chi from the heavens to your lungs to support your metal element.
Continue these breaths as you visualize and feel yourself receiving the gift of the metal element.
Like the pristine beauty of the fall and the changing colors of the leaves,
The metal element connects us with the awe and mystery of the cycles of life.
With each breath,
We receive the pure chi from the heavens that lives us.
With each exhale,
We release life back and let it go.
Each breath connects you to the divine source of your life.
Each breath grants you the capacity to be the brightest quality filled with self-worth for who you are.
Metal is the connection to the source of your breath and the source of life for all beings.
Metal is the gift of time,
The rhythm of life that connects us with the meaning and purpose of life.
We are moved beyond ourself to the mystery that is life itself.
Naturally let go with each breath.
Feel the awe that you are actually being lived by the source of this breath.
Feel how life is about this receiving and letting go.
Through the cycles of life and death,
This same source abides and we are never separated from it.
From this place of connection to what is greater than us,
You can let go and release into the cycles of life and move again into the water element with a new beginning,
The place of the unknown,
With trust in the process of your life and in your capacity to live your fullest essence.
So with the fullness of the gifts of the five elements,
Place your hands on your center and take three slow deep breaths and rest in the energy of the five elements.
In the coming hours and days,
Listen and feel for how your elements may speak to you and guide you in your daily life.
Whenever you feel the need for balance or support,
Listen to this healing meditation and connect with your elements.
May this deepen your understanding of your own energy to support your most aligned self in body,
Mind and spirit.
Namaste.
