Hello friends,

I'm Belle and welcome to your quick Corporate Confidence Boosting Meditation.

This is a five or so minute meditation designed to be done whenever you need to give yourself some mental space.

Maybe before a big meeting,

A presentation or just something stressful at work.

This is here for you to come back to whenever you need it and is designed for you to do at your desk or in a private space or really wherever you are right now.

And to start with I want you to say well done to yourself on recognising that you're feeling under pressure and you're feeling stressed and just recognising that and taking some time out for yourself to deal with that,

To recognise that.

It's so easy to let life and busyness get the best of us and society often tells us that busy is good but you actually need to rest to be able to perform at your best and it's important to remember that the rest is just as important as the work.

So if it's open to you right now I'd like to invite you to close down the eyes or otherwise just soften your gaze and we're going to start by grounding down where you are in this moment.

So make sure your legs are uncrossed,

Your feet are firmly on the ground beneath you and your spine is straight.

Notice where your body is touching the ground or the chair or the rug underneath you and take a big inhale through the nose and exhale out of the mouth.

We're going to inhale through the nose and exhale out of the mouth and see if you can deepen your breath on each inhale and exhale and see if you can also picture yourself on each of those out breaths pushing out any negative energy from the body,

That stress,

That anxiety,

It's all being released.

Now let the breath settle into whatever rhythm it needs to and I want to invite you to bring your hands to your forehead and just gently start tapping on your head.

Sounds crazy but hear me out and we just want to use your fingertips sort of like raindrops moving across your hairline,

Across your forehead and sort of down around to your temples just sort of gently tapping.

You might want to move up to your eyebrows and just keep repeating that tapping motion however feels good for you.

This practice funnily enough is actually known as tapping and it's a form of physical therapy that's designed to stimulate acupressure points on the face or the body.

So I just want you to continue to like keep tapping,

Keep moving your fingers across the top of your face and just bask in the space you've created here for yourself and I want you to accept that you feel however you feel right now,

A bit anxious not your best,

Really whatever it is and know that it doesn't preclude you from doing a good job today or any other day for that matter.

So finish your round with tapping and just bring your hands back down into your lap.

I want you to open your eyes,

Put your head up,

Your chin up and your shoulders back.

You've got this.
