Welcome to this journey of inner liberation.

Find a comfortable position,

Whether sitting or lying down.

And when you're ready,

Softly close your eyes or soften your gaze downward,

Whichever makes you feel more comfortable.

We're going to begin by taking three deep breaths together.

Inhale slowly through your nose and exhale completely through your mouth.

Again,

Breathing in and then releasing.

For the last time,

As you breathe in slowly through your nose,

Draw in the fresh energy from around you.

And when you breathe out,

Let go of anything you've been carrying from your day.

Now allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm and feel your body settling into this moment,

Into this space you've created for yourself.

Today we're exploring the freedom that already lives within you,

Not a freedom you need to earn or achieve,

But one that exists in your very essence.

Set this gentle intention now.

Today I explore the freedom that already lives within me.

So take a moment to feel what that intention stirs in your body.

There's no right or wrong response.

Simply notice what arises.

Today I explore the freedom that already lives within me.

So let's begin by grounding into the earth beneath you.

Feel the surface supporting your body,

Your chair,

Your cushion,

The floor.

Imagine roots growing from the base of your spine,

Reaching deep into the earth,

Anchoring you in safety and stability.

We're going to explore your body with curiosity and compassion and notice where you might be holding tension or emotional weight.

So let's start at the top at the crown of your head and notice any tightness in your scalp or your forehead.

Relax.

Do you sense any tension around your eyes,

Your temples?

Are you clenching your jaw?

Many of us carry the weight of unexpressed words here.

Just slightly let your mouth open,

Relaxing your jaw.

Moving down to your neck and shoulders.

This is where we often hold in the burdens that we think we have to carry.

What feels heavy here?

What would you like to set down?

Notice your chest and heart space.

Is there constriction or are you open?

What emotions live here right now?

All are welcome.

Becoming aware of your arms and hands.

Are they hold on to anything?

If you are,

Can you soften your grip?

Even on things you think you need to control.

Moving your attention to your belly and lower back.

This is the place where we often store our deepest fears and our oldest stories.

So simply breathe into this space with kindness and let it be.

Bringing your attention finally to your hips,

Your legs and your feet.

Feel how they connect to the earth.

Notice if there's any urge to run or flee or the opposite,

To just stay frozen.

Any response is just a piece of information,

Not a judgment.

Let's take a moment to appreciate your body's wisdom in holding what it's held and then also its readiness to release what's ready to go.

So now we're going to explore one limiting belief or reoccurring thought pattern that creates pressure in your life.

This isn't about forcing anything.

Simply allow whatever wants to be seen to come forward.

Perhaps the voice that says I'm not good enough or I don't have time for myself.

Or maybe it's I don't trust myself.

And one of my favorites,

I need to be perfect to be loved.

Whatever arises,

Welcome it with the same kindness you'd show a frightened child.

This belief has been trying to protect you in some way,

Even if it's outlived its usefulness.

Now thinking about this limiting belief,

Where do you feel this belief in your body?

Does it create tension in your shoulders and not in your stomach?

Pressure in your chest?

No need to change it.

Just notice and breathe into this space.

If you're comfortable,

Silently name this belief.

I see you,

Whatever belief it is.

I know you've been trying to keep me safe.

Now imagine this belief as a leaf that's been clinging to a tree branch.

And it's autumn now and it's time for this leaf to fall.

No need to force it.

Simply invite it to release at its own time.

And when it's ready,

Visualize the leaf gently loosing its grip and floating down through golden air and landing softly on the earth below,

Where it will become nourishment for new growth.

As you watch this leaf fall,

Breathe into the space it leaves behind.

This is the space of possibility where your freedom lives.

Take a few breaths here,

Feeling the lightness where the weight used to be.

So we're going to use our breath as a bridge to this freedom.

So as we count in for four,

We're going to say to ourselves,

I choose freedom.

And as we exhale to a count of six,

You're going to let go of what no longer serves.

So let's begin.

Inhale for two,

Three,

Four.

I choose freedom.

Exhale for five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Let go of what no longer serves you.

So we're going to continue this rhythm,

Allowing each breath to regulate your nervous system.

Each exhale to release what's going,

What's ready to go.

And each inhale to invite spaciousness and choice.

And don't worry if your mind wanders,

Simply return to the breath and the phrases.

Each return is a small act of liberation.

I choose freedom and I let go of what no longer serves me.

So I'll count for you for the next three cycles.

And then you continue for a few more cycles on your own at your own pace.

So breathing in two,

Three,

Four.

Breathing out for five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Breathe in for two,

Three,

Four.

Breathing out for five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Breathing in for two,

Three,

Four.

And breathing out for five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

With each cycle,

You might notice your body softening and your mind quieting and your heart opening.

This is your natural state of being spaciousness,

Freedom,

Awareness.

Continue for a few more cycles on your own at your own pace.

When you're ready,

Place one hand on your heart and one on your belly.

Feel the warmth of your own touch,

The gentleness of your own care.

Repeat these words,

Either silently or aloud,

Allowing them to sink into your bones.

I am enough.

I am whole.

I am free.

Let each word land deeply.

Feel what it might be like if you truly believe these words,

Not just intellectually,

But as a cellular level.

Now,

Imagine yourself walking barefoot in a golden field.

The earth is warm beneath your feet.

The sun is gentle on your skin.

You are wild and open,

Moving with complete authenticity,

No masks,

No pretense,

No need to be anyone other than exactly who you are.

Feel the wind moving through your hair,

The freedom in your limbs,

The expansiveness in your chest.

This is your birthright.

This wildness,

This authenticity,

This freedom to be in this field.

You're not bound by others' expectations or at your own harsh judgments.

You're simply alive,

Present,

Free.

Take this feeling into your body and let it live in your cells.

This is who you are beneath all the conditioning and stories.

Keep your hand on your heart as you return.

This is your anchor.

It's connection to your own loving presence.

So bring your awareness back to this room,

This moment,

And you can gently wiggle your fingers and toes.

Take a big,

Deep breath in and sigh it out.

And as you prepare to open your eyes and return to your day,

Remember,

The freedom you've touched in this practice isn't something you leave behind.

It's something you carry with you,

Available in any moment you choose to remember it.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.

And if you want to take this to a step further,

You can journal about what came up for you during this meditation.

You can think about,

What story am I ready to let go of?

Write without censoring,

Allowing whatever wants to emerge,

To flow onto the page.

This is your opportunity to consciously release what no longer serves your highest good.

I dedicate the calm and clarity from this meditation to the cessation of suffering everywhere.

May it bring peace to you,

To me,

And extend to the world.

Thank you.
