• “WACURI™ - Journey to Forgiveness" is a five-minute guided visualization that invites you to find an area of your life where forgiveness of self or others can release pent-up energy back to you for an easier and more fulfiling life, enabling relief, new insights, actions. • This journey is led by Dan Spinner, a 30-year Life Coach, Aikido Master and Mindfulness Teacher, who was the CEO for the Deepak Chopra Foundation, and advisor to other organizations dedicated to positive change.. • Like other Wacuri™ journeys, the goal is to enable busy modern people to build the habit of quickly dropping into a deep state of connectedness with self, others and the sacred universe. • Wacuri™ is short for “Wake Up Curious,” and is a method of five-minute guided social meditation – followed by deep sharing among the participants – developed by Dan and his partners in Wacuri.

Take a nice couple of deep breaths please in your own rhythm.

And adjust your posture to be comfortable.

And come with me on a journey today to forgiveness.

Imagine if you will a moment in your life where someone has forgiven you or someone else.

Or you've seen and felt the experience of forgiveness,

Your own or someone else's.

And feel that moment,

Recreate it in your mind's eye or imagine wanting someone you'd like to be forgiving or forgiving you.

And feel what the act of forgiveness is.

It has a vibration,

It has a tone,

It has a quality that sometimes is hard for us to achieve.

Think for example of the forgiveness of Nelson Mandela for his jailers or countless other examples.

Take a moment and see if you can feel your way into the tone and vibration of forgiveness.

And think now of a situation or a person where you would like to forgive them or have them forgive you.

For a particular incident,

For a relationship,

For something you did or did not do or they did or did not do.

It doesn't matter.

We pick it.

We all need more forgiveness in our life.

And rather than try and think your way there,

Feel the vibration of what forgiveness is.

Feel the patterns.

For when we forgive and when we are forgiven,

There's an understanding that we are all deeply connected.

That we are walking in the other person's shoes,

That they are walking in ours,

That we are so connected,

We are our brother or our sister and they are us.

If you apply the golden rule to forgiveness,

It becomes easier.

Now imagine the situation you've picked.

And surround the person you're forgiving or surround yourself with light and love and this tone and quality of letting go,

Of detachment,

Of understanding.

And see that the quality of forgiveness is a quality that abounds throughout the planet and the universe.

Accepting the way things are and the way we sometimes behave.

And moving on beyond it.

It's a natural part of how the world and the planet and the universe actually works.

See if you can allow yourself to feel the deeper vibration of forgiveness throughout the universe.

And forgive yourself as you wish others would forgive you and forgive them.

And imagine that somehow you have the ability to forgive everyone for anything past,

Present or future and the same for them of you.

Imagine a world full of forgiveness.

And what that would mean.

And when you're ready,

Give thanks for such a world,

Such a possibility in yourself and others.

And come back into the room in your own time and have a wonderful day.

For some reason this short meditation was exactly what I needed- the prompt to consider how I felt when others forgave me really brought up a lot of thought because I couldn't think of many instances where I've been forgiven consequently the biggest one is me forgiving myself and even if the others forgave me I have not forgiven myself oh, and I also grew up in a family that holds a lot of grudges so this was extremely helpful for me to see how the lack of forgiveness perpetuates things on both sides

Thank you so much! My first thought about “forgiveness” is that “I’ve already done that.” And then I open my heart and mind. This was powerful! I will do it again and again, because it is not yet done.
