Good morning and thank you for joining me for this peaceful morning practice.
Allowing me to share this space and these precious few moments where we can gift ourselves some time for quiet connection.
Where we can start our day from a space of calm and peace.
So make yourself comfortable either sitting or lying down.
Close your eyes and allow yourself to soften and relax.
Connect with your breathing.
If it's helpful you can place one hand onto the abdominals and feel the movement of the breath here.
Keep the breathing soft and relaxed.
And now invite a deeper breath into the body.
So when you are ready breathing in deeply and then let the breath go and breathe out.
And again when you are ready breathing in deeply and let the breath go.
And now just soften again and connect to and witness the natural spontaneous breath.
Take a few moments in gratitude.
Take a few moments to think about all the things you are grateful for.
Be grateful for this day,
For your breath and for being alive.
In the words of Nickelback,
Each day is a gift and not a given right.
So take this time to be thankful for this day.
And now breathe that life energy into your body.
Feel the energy of calm,
Peace and love spreading through your body.
Feel the support of the breath and the ground beneath you.
Feeling the support give yourself permission to let go and allow yourself to sink into that quiet,
Calm space.
Allow yourself to open up to all the possibilities that this day may bring you.
Allow yourself to be open to the beautiful opportunities that arise.
Open up to the peace and positive energy that is within you and around you and that can flow and guide you through your day.
Take a moment to set an intention for your day.
A positive affirmation or goal that you would like to set for yourself.
Repeat that intention or affirmation in your mind.
Allow it to sink into the quiet space within you and around you.
Breathe into your intention and then let go.
Let's move into a mantra meditation for a few minutes to help us connect to the present moment and to manifest the most beautiful day of calm,
Peace and positivity.
So begin repeating in your mind the Soham mantra.
The Soham mantra doesn't have a literal meaning.
The closest translation is I am or I am that.
But we use it for its powerful vibrational quality.
You can connect the mantra to your breath if you like.
So repeat so as you inhale and harm as you exhale.
There's no need to rush the breaths.
Just let the sound color each breath.
So as you inhale harm as you exhale.
Keep repeating that in your mind.
So as you inhale harm as you exhale.
If the mind wanders off simply and gently bring it back to your mantra.
Soham Soham Soham Keep repeating your mantra.
Soham Try to hear that mantra in your mind.
Soham Try to hear that mantra in your mind.
Soham Try to hear that mantra in your mind.
Soham Try to hear that mantra in your mind.
Soham Try to hear that mantra in your mind.
Soham Try to hear that mantra in your mind.
Soham Try to hear that mantra in your mind.
Soham Try to hear that mantra in your mind.
And gently allow yourself to awaken by deepening the breath and beginning to move your body.
As you move through the rest of your day allow yourself to carry this peace calm and quiet.
May you trust have patience and have the grace to flow effortlessly through whatever unfolds today.
Namaste
