Let's settle into our seats.
Sitting up nice and tall.
The crown of our head is reaching to the sky.
We're feeling our shoulders down and away from the ears.
Our hips are grounded into the earth.
Feeling supported and held.
And let's settle into a breath.
Breathing in and out of our nostrils.
Feeling balance and harmony in our breath.
As we inhale and exhale evenly.
Filling our bodies with clear and fresh oxygen.
Maybe feeling the belly rise and fall as we breathe.
Just taking a few moments to feel into our breath.
Letting the mind settle a little bit.
Be present in this moment right here,
Right now.
Now let's shift our focus into sensation of joy.
Thinking about what brings us joy.
It could be a person.
It could be a place.
An activity that you love to do.
And you can get lost in doing it.
Really visualize it now.
Bring it to life as if it's happening right now.
And smile if you feel called to.
Breathing into the joy.
And keeping this image in mind.
Let's linger on the feelings that it brings us.
Really enjoying every moment.
And noticing any physical sensation that this feeling might bring you.
Like warmth or tingling or lightness.
And any emotional sensations like happiness and peace.
Now what would our lives be like if we made joy our priority?
If we were able to bring these feelings and emotions that joy brings us into everything that we encounter into our lives.
And the truth is,
The joy doesn't have to be complicated.
It can come from a decision to have more fun.
To enjoy every task.
Every interaction.
No matter how mundane or annoying.
And the reality is,
You have the power to shift your energy from one of anger,
Frustration,
Into the one of joy and fun.
So when you're feeling the relief from this truth,
That we truly do have that capacity to always operate in a state of joy.
It does require a little bit of effort.
But if we're willing and we're committed,
We can make it happen.
So now that we're staying deeply connected to our breath,
To the sensations of joy in our physical bodies,
As well as our internal landscape,
Let's bring our attention to our energetic feel,
To our aura that surrounds us.
And thinking about the energy that we put out into the world is typically the energy that we get back,
Just like a boomerang.
Let's think about what kind of energy we'd like to put out.
Using this energy in a color or a feeling.
And letting this light fill your surroundings.
Encompassing your body and radiating this joyful energy to everyone you encounter on your path.
Breathing into the space.
Now imagine your breath coming in and out through your heart.
Let each inhalation caress and soften your heart space.
Being aware of a golden flame in the center of your chest.
You may visualize it or simply feel its warm and glowing presence.
And this is your glowing light of joy.
The highest state of our natural being.
And with each inhalation,
You feel the flame growing.
And it radiates throughout your heart,
The back,
All the way down into the fingertips,
Into the neck and the head,
Down through the hips and the legs,
And through every toe.
Rest your awareness gently on this flame.
Watch it radiate and grow.
And keep softening and relaxing your heart.
Spreading this glow of your inner flame of joy throughout your body and out into the room or the space that you're in.
And realizing that joy isn't a state that we have to find.
It's a state that's already within us.
And all we have to do is remove any distractions that is preventing us from living in the state of joy.
Visualizing this inner flame of joy melting any darkness,
Any distractions that could be preventing us from living in a state of joy.
And breathing into the space as this flame melts all the darkness away,
Leaving you radiating with this warm,
Soft light,
Allowing you to return to your day-to-day life with more peace and happiness and awareness.
And when you're ready,
You can gently start to bring your awareness back to your physical sensations,
The space around you.
And when you're ready,
Gently blinking your eyes open.
Coming back to the room.
And have a great rest of your day.
Namaste.
